Sheesh Jimi, even the way I drive I cant cook a set of tires that soon, and thats WITH eating first and second gear after most stopped situations...

Oh yeah, brother scored a nearly mint S5 black front carpet from pull-a-part today...and I got my liscence plate holder thingy for my S5 tails, so woot.

I've been too lazy to hit up PaP. I'll probably wait until they get something new in. Oh, and Derrick, new Dunlop rear tire for my bike is $100 shipped Mine still has maybe 30-50% though, so no worries.

nice liz, but what kinda quality is that tire? I mean its one thing to buy shitty tires for a car, cuz you have 3 others to help grip with, but you only have 2 on a bike and only really using a small contact patch to keep the bike holding....and if you lose it its flesh and bone payments for that weak tire. But still not a bad price.

Yeah only 3 first gens, one a SA, and that 90 FC that 'had' black carpet in the front and a toast dash. rear carpet and bins in good shape though. And actually it was 9bucks for the "Large Carpet" according to PaP, and the FC still had ALL its braking components if someone decided they needed extra calipers and hubs.

That's the factory Dunlop tire. They're not racing tires but they're quality ones. Same thing that's on it right now so I wouldn't know the difference. Sounds like they have another first gen at PaP. Did you notice if the rear carpet was still there? I've gotta pick up some goodies for the Cheeto soon since it's back in the land of the living again. Also I think I worked out the cold start issue, although it idles a bit high again when warmed up. Pretty much back to where it was before the rebuild, which is fine with me.

I think all the first gens had rear carpet or seats in them still.

Lol, sadly I would too. Though as it seems to stand im making the FC into a more weekend friendly car...as in leaving alot of the crap in the back out, maybe get a 4point cage, and start making it more corner happy

There ya go... move all of that dead weight into the Conquest. If you need music in the FC, just get an iPod and some headphones. And make sure it's a Nano, not that heavy *** full size thing!

A friend of mine just bought an FD a few weeks ago. The stock twins are blown and he was inquiring about going single. He may be interested in buying the single kit though, how much would you want for it?

Thought them were fightin' words for a minute there, glad you explained that.

I'm still having random start issues with the Cheeto. Smoke clouds and pumping the gas while cranking, sound familiar to anyone? This car never smoked before I rebuilt the carb... WTFBBQ?!

My 12a is just peachy. The carb that sits on top of it is causing problems. And I'm the root of those problems, so I can't really bitch too much, can I?

At this point it would be a re-re-re-re-rebuild considering all the times I've had it apart.
