However when you spend 1000 on tires 250 on pads and 500 each weekend for lodging, gas and food if you can't stomack the 15k to loose your FD you should probably just consider another hobby
Also who wants to drive 200 plus miles, spend 200 on hotel and food and drive around the track in a GALANT
Smell what I'm steppin in?Stick with the FD
You know the old saying...........you've got to PAY to PLAY!

I'll be at VIR for Audi in Nov and at LRP on Nov 4th with PDA. I know a couple of you are planning on showing up, who all will be there? Fritz, we met at a NASA event a month or two ago at Summit while you were running a miata. I've got the black FD (formerly red door) and the grey trailer. See you trackside.

Who else is going?
I think the Audi event in Nov. is closed.... so the only other down there was that Chin event in Dec., and that might be a little late.
I think I'm going to try and hit one of the Nov. FATTs to fully kill that first set of Hoo hoos, and then probably call it a season.

I just signed up for the Chin event in December as well
Pete,
I'll look at the Summit schedule and see if I can make it for some seat time.

If you guys want some pics of you on the track (for the Summit events) i'll offer my services. Not a professional or anything, but if you want to take a look at some of my work;

Need to work on panning shots, but there was only one place i could really stand for that event. Let me know

They're all FATTs at this point.... hmm.... i'll think about that Chin event too, but I have to believe it'll be freezing by then..

Thanks for the tip. I think some other NASCAR boys have seen the wall at that corner too
It's a tricky little ******.
Hey, Fritz...
The old(er) farts say it was really tough back when the track was narrower. We have it too easy these days with tire walls, good shocks and sticky tires. You think VIRs NASCAR is tricky, head up north of the border and drive Mosport T2 or Mont Tremblants' T2... they are really tricky and fast.

Those guys back in the day had no other choice but to fight the damn car through every corner.
Hopefully one of these days I'll start wandering a bit but I'm scared I'll drive 10 hours and the my wonderful FD will not have her wits about her and I'll have gone wayward without good reason.
That corvette is looking mighty tasty have you been lapping it at all and if so what's the review?
