what did you do to your rx7 today
Found the Hayashi racing center caps I'd 'hidden' from myself. Put them in the 'hard to find parts' area with everything else. Otherwise, just walked past it and looked at it longingly, thinking about how much fun it will be to drive with its stripped chassis, JLC 12a street port, light flywheel, and 4.44 LSD. Eventually.....
Cleaned up a TII tranny I got to upgrade from my existing GSL-SE tranny. Did a full teardown and cleaning of one headlight retractor motor. Pulled & did first degreasing of my front crossmember. Laid out parts for the motor build up.
Trying to decide if I should just say screw it, sell the interior, sell the brand new 13B-REW, wiring harness, 99 twins, brand new pretty much everything, and buy a 20B/ Cage the bastard.
Hurm...
Hurm...
solved my lean fuel issue, however I need to retune the car completely now it seems.... also ive got coolent leaking from the bottom of my intake manifold.... damn coolent orings! ordered new lim and orings, why mazda thought running coolent through the intake manifold was a good idea ill never understand....

or why they choose to use an odd oring size aswell...tried using ones from a huge oring kit i have but none fit the bill.
on another note, today i finished wiring The FD alternator up properly. Had been running it wrong for a month or so and constantly killing my battery if it sits longer than a day.
Some spare wire, 10min of time, a knuckle bandaid and its done. :]
14.56v driving.
13.9 with all lights and acc. on. I wish fixing all my problems were this easy.

Trackforged do work on N/A rotaries or mostly boost?

Spent the last few days grinding down and cleaning up the N/A intake manifold for my standalone swap. Heres the progress moments before being boxed up and mailed out to Performance Coatings in Auburn, WA for some delicious ceramic frosting.
Before grinding / smoothing:

After

The S5 N/A middle / VDI intake has got to be one of the sexiest intakes evar. After grinding and smoothing:

Took the LIM into All-Fab and had them weld up the exhaust port that heats up the intake:

Mailing this out today - should be 1 or 2 weeks and I'll post up the after-shots of the ceramic coating!

lets see yesterday helped willeee install his 99 spec bumper, then today I fixed ANOTHER fuel leak on my red t2 drove it around a bit,
went to my dads helped him fix a non working right blinker, and not canceling, needed new cpu flasher board, and had to replace the turn canceling cam... look slike previous owner installed an aftermarket steering wheel incorrectly and destroyed it!

I took my dash apart and started rewiring the ignition to a multi-switch push button system backed by an RFID. I will be posting pictures soon after I get my yellow top in from Amazon and decide on what ignition plate I am going to use, I am thinking of going with a quick car one from Jeg's
