Installed the Solex locks I've had sitting in my garage forever. Doors came out great, Having an issue with the hatch lock though. Eh... Still unlocks from the inside. I don't think I've ever opened it with a key anyway. At least it looks good

With the help of a fellow club member, I installed my aluminum radiator thats been sitting in the corner for 3 months now... Maybe more....

Joe what I meant was that this was a gift from you for my car. I will only pass it back to you.
BTW, Engine is back in, headder has been modified and FD water pump and serpentines are ready to be turned over after the intake manifold dries.

Working on stripping down my carb and following rabbit trails to broken links to find out what stays and what goes. Thinking I'm gonna keep the choke assembly cause I live in the barren North of B.C., or at least mid B.C., where we see -30 c every winter and getting a winter beater is not an option.
Found out the shippers arrived to pickup the widebody in NY, and they apparently were unable to pickup. have to wait till Monday to find out (WHY do they never call me, the paying customer, when there is a problem. So unprofessional) when they are going to be able to schedule another pickup with the right truck.
Once it gets here looks like I'm going to have some parts to trade. Low mileage 12a with tranny I will have up for grabs. Looking for porting/exhaust/ignition work to be done.
I'm also in talks with some guys at Speedware Motorsports who may be able to help me out with some bodywork. I've got a couple grand built up in barter credit with 1 company, about 8 grand with another. Saving up for new shocks and sway bars.

I finished my back carpet today, i think it looks great, i included a photo there. it's a soft, furry and fluffy white color that matches my white pearl paint, the photo makes it look a little yellow or dirty but it's nice an clean and looks awesome.
I also purchased a few relays, circuit breakers and wire and some other things to relocate my battery to the storage bin and fix the voltage drop problems that fb's have.

I imagined working on her in a new 3 car garage... That was across the street from a light blue house with a silver S4 (Anyone on here?? Lake Steven's)
But... That dream was smashed.

^ That may have been Travis. He's a Domino's delivery driver... Unfortunately he isn't on the forum.
July 29th - Picked up a "new" unmolested throttle body from forum member 'FC slide'. (Good deal... Cool guy.) - I became sick of the 'TB mod' that I performed years ago on my old throttle body. I disassembled my BOV, stretched the springs, and resealed it. No more BOV leak. It is still fully functional and adjustable.
July 30th - Went to the junkyard and picked up a used N/A throttle cable. I installed the "new" throttle body and fabricated a bracket to use the N/A throttle cable on my TII engine. I modified the throttle linkage and modified the TPS bracket for the TB. I hooked everything up... And NO start. I diagnosed my problem, eliminating the possibility of main relay failure or poor ground cable... Ran out of day light.
July 31st - Got the electrical situation figured out. The positive battery cable was hot after trying to start the car a few times... Swapped in a new battery and the car started right up. I took the car for a small spin and washed it. I am VERY pleased with the throttle response.
