Installed the new Koni setup.
Shocks are Koni yellow rebuilt for new spring rates:
Front: 900 lb
Rear: 750 lb
Springs are Hyperco.
Genesis dividers with helper springs.
Notice that the Koni setup lets me use a real upper spring perch, also from Koni.
This prevents the springs bending under load.
Upper mounts are TriPoint monoball mounts
TrueChoice Koni rebuilt the shocks and cut new grooves for the shocks, but the new grooves left the car too high at even with the coilovers as low as possible.
So yesterday I took it all apart and cut new spring perch grooves.
Lowered the rears by .75 inch
Lowered the fronts by .348 inch
Now it can be properly corner balanced.
Koni vs Ground Control

Cutting a new spring perch groove in an old blown shock.

Installed - primer is where I painted over bits chewed up in the lathe.
Didn't have any yellow paint.

Working on fixing the passenger side windshield rim water leak. Wired my antenna extension to a switch that didn't do anything in my console, and am pulling apart my dash/console to try and fix the wiring that the previous owner and the owner before him fucked up when they swapped the engine and Turboed it. There's tons of **** to do on this but that's why I bought it. They didn't even put a gasket between the turbo and block and left the turbo bolts finger tight
The guys looked at the hood and were talking crazy money to repair the hood. I'm going to look at other options, I know CompLogics dad does fiberglass work, I'm prob going to run it down to him to take a look at it. Anyone else good at fiberglass work ?
I got an MSD in and hooked up finally, and I made a cool little bolt for my air cleaner cover.

We got the front end ripped apart, started putting in the rack n pinion setup, have to find a place to press in ball joints. Turns out it had some suspension techniques springs, so now I have a set of racing beat, green sus tech, and grey sus tech. I guess the greys are older and linear, greens are newer and progressive. More parts to sell.
Started it after large bridgeport and custom intake manifold. Needs tuned, too much brap brap.
