lets see

Tuesday-
RX8 thought the rx8 blew, but it was bad leading and trailing coil pack on front rotor, swaped the bhr coils out for some old stock ones I had and it runs great again!

FC- figured out why it started overheating last week, the fan came loose and rubbed a hole in the radiator, so need to order a new koyo...

Wednesday- put tein ss coilovers on the fd, definitely a lot firmer ride, not too jarring tho.

Thurs- adjust the front a tad lower, and install the aluminum AST tank.

Friday- work on the **** box! coilovers+ spacers install on the audi!

How's your racing harness bolted down?
Couldn't see in the video, but was told once that if it's bolted too low, like on the floor, that if in an accident a harness mounted too low will just compress your spine and possibly cause more harm then good.
Not trying to be a dick or anything, just curious if you have the harness mounted safely.
FC sounds strong an thanks for the video man.

Just picked up a gsl-se running gear and a 83' gauge cluster and a whole bunch of random interior bits that my car was missing. Junkyard told the guy without a power plant or transmission the car was worth $25. He said rip it apart and take whatever I wanted. Not that often someone tells you to rip in to a 83' Gs. Felt bad the thing was stright and clean. The most fun I've had in days.

So I have a S4 trans in there with the S4 speedo gear. The 82' speedometer has always been about ten or so miles per hour off. Will the 120 guage cluster be right on now?

On my new 93 FD I replaced the trailing arm and toe link bushings with super pro ones last night. At 3:30 CST I'll be doing the upper and lower arms including pillow *****. Pics with update tonight!

Finally got some rain-free weather, so dusted off the FD and stretched her legs.

Discovered a boost creep issue, so now I'm debating if I want to do the vac line job I've been putting off (Need to see if the boost control solenoid is stuck open) or just set the alarm lower on my gauges and be gentle until I can order the solenoid rack kit I was eyeing.

This all assuming of course it's not something much more annoying like a seized waste gate or the exhaust flowing too well.

Got a pair of mint 99 tails from Jose A.

Quick and easy install. Progress shot for comparison with the stockers for the one person who doesn't know the difference.

Removed the 93 PCV system and put in a Mishimoto catch can. No more pulls ending in clouds of smoke. Your welcom EPA. Now it can shoot flames!

Somewhat rx-7 related because my brothers 7 is at our house

He's planning on taking it in for the loved/hated LS-x swap in a month or so. Can't wait to see him have a fun car to drive again, drove it a few times in the past and always thought if I didnt have my MR2 I'd have a Rx7. On that note (shameless plug) I just about finished my wilwood setup on my 2, they work VERY well, just have to swap down pipes and make it look nice but it actually about 90% done money pit wise.
