Tweak has a LS1. Hence all the torque and NA talk and the lack of retarded aero and stickers. Just straight business.

Picked up a new FC vert on Friday. Not white, but a custom black/green metallic. Still gonna try to panda it though. Got my old, good, engine out of my wrecked Seven and the new Seven's blown engine is about ready to come out. Just need to slip it the engine back in and get a new radiator and I'll be set.

Got sick of constantly re-tightening down the battery hold down, picked up a new billet hold down made for the yellow top. Looks sharp and it's rock solid. Added some grounding wires, changed tranny fluid. Picked a shipper for the widebody, waiting to hear back. I'm hoping it gets here by next weekend.

Sorry I am searching through the threads to solve my issues, and my post count was down so I posted LoL

maybe I will just steal this thread

93 FD
I have done a whole bunch of things to it recently including cooling mods, and a second oil cooler, the car ran fine for the longest time, but then I took it on a trip about 225 miles there

well on a downhill decelerating all the sudden I get misfires
from then on I got misfires and even stalling issues

on location I changed out my leading spark plugs, it ran better but man she wasn't happy, I towed her home

today I found that the TPS clip was broken and a wire (bottom black one) was completely broken, So i found some new plugs at the wrecking yard, soldered them in, I also replaced the trailing plugs

the car again runs better but still has misfires at idle, and when holding a rev say 3000 rpms it misfires randomly and drops rpms to 2800 and fumbles around there.

I tested TPS voltage thinking perhaps the TPS shorted out, well all the bottom wire seems to be in spec, but the second wire is 1.34 and 4.99 acceptable range should be 1.0-1.2 and 4.8-5.0 so I thought maybe I could adjust TPS but then again the idle screw is set so if i set that to 0 then my lower range would probably be within spec

seems to be around 15-16 vacuum

compression test for both rotors where good

really at a lost, thinking a vacuum leak which it just doesn't feel like.

Leaking fuel injector?
bad 02 sensor?
bad fuel filter?

yesterdays news but I tried my hand at body work...

my problem area

after prying, tapping, and bondo shaping

and the total area bondo'd up

end result comment... It was my first attempt at using bondo and may not be the last, didnt come out perfect but wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Why didn't you take the front fender off and knock the dent out?

I really didnt plan to do any body work. I was at my house and my buddy(his ae86 in pics) went to his dads to put in work on his quarter panel. I left a little later (around 11pm)just to check it out and him and his dad suckered me into it. I reached up in the fender and knocked it out close to where it is supposed to be, so rather than 3/4in of bondo its at most 1/4in thick in the deepest part, if that.

Next is to weld a "donor" rocker panel over the deep kink under the front of the door, this car will never be super clean and straight while I own it, but Ill make it look better than when I bought it.

Picked this up for $500, a lot of blue smoke... like a steam engine level of smoke (he used synthetic oil and premium gas). Has a large street ported 12a, with 35k on the rebuild. Compression number are 97 and 100 lbs so they are good. For the fun of it I am going to premix it to see if that'll be any better.

But if it goes all wrong I have a good 13b and all the stuff to weld it in so yeah.

Nothing but luck, It was once described to me as "having the ability to to take advantage of the situation when it arises." And when it broke down in my buddy's drive way, I jumped on it and molested it till she was mine lol

Found out my Pulsation Dampener is leaking, and was attempting to light my car on fire. Coolant line under the TB was leaking and spilling onto the Downpipe causing white smoke to billow out from my hood scoop.
