I taught myself how to weld plastic using a torch, a couple flat blade screwdrivers bent a few different ways, and some zip ties. Worked out pretty well. I also busted out the JB Weld and fixed some interior pieces. I would have just welded everything but the torch ran out of juice. Been using that same torch for longer than I can remember. I also cleaned up some wiring and found out why neither of the power mirrors worked.

Fixed my tach problem Ive had since I bought my car over a yr ago. Tried tracing numerous times. Finally got some tech advice from tanner at racing beat. Turns out I've had bad ignighter on trailing side. Been running off Jus leading plugs. Haha swapped trailing side unit with t2. Works great. Bouncing it off 9k today

Installed a carbon fiber trim ring and Mazdaspeed horn button on my steering wheel. Looks great. Also got to check out Slideways7's ride. Thx for coming over for the suprise b-day party

I have so much to do and i've been working 12-14 hr days 6 days a week. After family, no time to put into the car. Going to polish the manifolds since they're off, new gaskets are in but waiting on one more I forgot. New rotor pedals should be here any day too.

recived my derlin dtss eliminators, and rear subframe mounts, I already have the rear poly control arms to go in. looks like I'll be pulling the *** end appart soon. yay. I have poly bushings for the rear sway bar, but I'm thinking about ditching it. I've heard good things about just having a big front and no rear.

Next project will be rebuilding the LSD, I'll be putting in 1 thinker clutch and each side, and possably still keeping both the stock clutches also. that way its almost welded but has some give.

the other day I replaced some coolant hoses, rehooked up the bac valve, mmo'ed the engine while the UIM was off, replaced the alternator. still having some sort of ignition problems. take it back appart asap.

I need to get my FB back up and running, and possably get a new dd. DDing the T2 the way I drive it is getting old. I'm constantly working on it. But when its running right. I wouldn't wan't to drive anything else. I love my car. even though she can be a bitch. she's my bitch. But the FB can be very reliable much less to go wrong with it and no turbo it breaks less stuff. and I'll still be rolling an RX7 every day. Plus my Little FB is pretty quick. Its got a full exhaust, modded nikki carb, modded intake manifold, stipped down alot of weight. I'm looking for a set of 4.77 gears for the rear end. so It still a fast car. just not over 200 HP fast. at the moment my T2 would probably get its *** handed to it by a smart car. or a prius. or anything for that matter. its fucked up needs a new turbo, and still has paris hilton syndrome. always somthing with that bitch.

Started painting more plastic interior parts, going with a nice black plastic with burgundy carpet. got the pinging ALMOST fixed, (as some of you may know) and ordered my idler arm bushings.

also nabbed a few tiny toggle switches for a silly project as a joke to a friend. he made wisecracks about it needing LED lights everywhere so I bought two of those LED strips for a dollar on ebay and I'm going to put them up under the dash so they light up the area for your feet. going to mount the two toggle switches in a spare dash slot cover and put that where my cruise control button is since the cruise is non existent everywhere else.

installed rubber gaskets from ace hardware on the rear window in all the freakin holes to stop it from leaking, duck taped the inside of the rear where the mazda symbol is so that doesn't leak until i find a suitable replacement. Car's dry now.

was going to do idler arm bushings but ran out of oomph so i drilled a small hole to fit an ipod cable through in the center console box.

Good idea...inspires me to check my back window. I know it is leaking It is Seattle. The
windows will be an interesting trick. If only I could buy the originals

Last month I bought a racing beat muffler for my 83...the month before I bought 4 new
tires...Had Jerry do a tuneup and some carb repair. It is running much better...at least
I am not stalled out in traffic.

ace hardware sells rubber gaskets just larger than a quarter and in different thicknesses , which are just larger then the mounting hardware in the rear window on a fb. all I had to do to get it to work was take a razor and cut the center out a little bigger. works like a charm. i had like a inch of standing water in the spare tire carrier. Ouch. Dried up now thank god, that would have been a mess later.

Today I installed a dome light and broke the Light bulb holder. Oops.....
