Dropped the rear, took out the diff and put in .17mm thicker thrust washers into the diff to increase the breakaway point of the diff.

Then put in some solid bushings in the subframe, individual cambers adjusters, and lower control arm spherical bearings.

Tomorrow it goes back in hopefully.

I tried, notice the tried part, to pull my diff today. Got the halfshafts out without too much suffering, but the damn diff just won;t come out.
O well still a successfull day. I've never pulled any thing other than the discs off of the whole subframe, diff, drive suspension stuff.
Having fun.

Do you need some help? I work in Seattle every weekday, I can come and help. Are you just trying to drop the whole diff case, or are you trying to pull the pumpkin out?
This a FC btw?
Swapped my jic majic full suspension for some fully adjustable Ksports. Also traded my 17.9 and 17.8 Mb battles for a some stock FD rims and tires. Also got a free racing beat header for my FC too.

Never heard of Albuquerque, WA/ID/OR. Cool either way. Welcome to the forum.
Tweak, thanks for the offer off help. I'm trying to pull the whole thing out. A forum member wants it and I'm parting out this car.
I have pull off three bolts on it as of today. The two that hold the mounts for it. (the big round holes with the bolt coming out of the bottom) and one bolt at the front. That looks like all there is in the FSM but i'm going to do some more research tonight.

True, but it looks like he has an FB, 83 so I assume carbed. Much less work if he is going with a SC kit than trying to swap a T2 and upgrade everything to EFI.

Thats lame. At least hes got another motor.
As for me supercharging my motor. I just swapped a rebuilt 4 port 13B. Its got a mild street port and a 4 barrel carb. Race clearanced bearings and modified OPR. Oil feed and drain are drilled and tapped. It was supercharged before I got it and from what I was told it was a pretty potent setup.
Bought some LED's to replace the tail lights and front turn signals. I like the lower voltage usage and the brightness. whenever they get here (week or two) will post pics of them before and after installation.
