Dropped off an IC pipe, to have a BOV flange welded on. After that, the clutch goes in and the car gets tuned.

been making progress on the efi swap.

cut the cold air induction pipes and fitted them up.

I also replaced the headlight lifter rods. wow ridiculously easy, i'm embarrassed i put it off that long.

This CAI mounts a cone filter in front of the radiator, where the AC condenser lives. I had to remove that, which i'm not entirely keen on, but will see if i can find a smaller condenser down the road.

^^Wow, nice clean swap.

-I merely installed Atkin's thermal pellet plug... Doing so reminded me yet again of how happy I am that I deleted power-steering & a/c!!! SoOooO easy to install the thermal pellet plug w/o all that clutter!

Yesterday I disconnected my gas tank pressure release valve assuming it was stuck. There was always pressure in my tank. Sometimes a lot of pressure. I'm not really concerned with fixing it as I just made it work by bypassing it.

Been finally working on the 20Beest thanks to some much needed motivation. Built a 3d model of the plate for the transmission shifter relocation. Now to the cnc.

Nice car and setup ! Glad to see it in action. It was my first. Besides the small wastegate that kit worked well.

oil change in the rx8 yesterday!
finally fixed the small coolent leak in the grey turbo! turns out it was the oem style hose clamp I used for the hose from back of water pump. Seemed it would only let water out if I reved it up then let off suddenly. it would leak some out when the pressure spikes.

Last month I bought a White 94 from a fellow club member in Redmond with Fearnopiston. After parting out what we did not want, I swapped in a fresh streetported engine, 99 twins, wiring, 1300cc injectors, and act/street strip. I bought a 99 bumper and accessories from Corksport and had them painted. It's got Mazdaspeed struts/springs, suspension techniques swaybars, RE toe/trails, upgraded swaybar mounts, and hawk HP's. I need to install my wideband and datalogit so I can start tuning this week.

Got the engine in the 88 vert yesterday, should have it running today, take it to son's work so he can put a new top on it Monday or so.

Then it is on to the REPU and GM TBI conversion that will be run buy a Megasquirt ms3/ms3x

Other day I wet sanded and polished the vert tail lights. I'm pretty happy w the results considering it wash first time. Next time I'll razor off the dot stuff then wet sand and polish.

Wasn't today, but I just now got around to posting. Finally had the clutch dropped in, and got over to the tuner on Saturday. Put down 358.9 @15psi with stock ports, GT35R, 550/1680 injectors, and a small list of other pieces. There was plenty of fuel left (and the tune is a little rich anyway), but the returns seemed to diminish with higher boost. I'm fairly happy with it, considering that I knew the stock ports would hold me back. All the more reason to look forward to tearing it down this winter, and having it ported.

Alan can't wait to see the megasquirt setup! I'm SO very close to having the Haltech running.

I'm ALMOST regretting going with a 110% custom engine/intake/computer setup. Every 2 steps forward yields 1 step back. But oh man that step is sweet

Sounds like safe numbers to me... I'm assuming 10's during spool & lower rpms... Low 11s up top? Some room to play... But, give up the 10 more hp and keep her running fat & happy... BRAP

I thought a gt35r would have a little more "puff" than that... What exhaust & intake you running? I'm assuming you run an air filter, have you ran it without? Please tell me your not using a top mount intercooler....
