I went drag racing for the first time and broke my diff housing and hopefully nothing else
But it was fun, hopefully we can fix it in time for autocross in two weeks!

pressed the delrin diff bushings into my new gxl rear and pressed the mookeeh coilover sleeves onto the mk1 front shocks and installed them. just waiting for the motivation to rip apart the whole suspension and put on the energy suspension kit sometime before winter hits and it gets painted (finally) and parked

Today i passed emissions! no easy feat when you have a single turbo with nothing but a high flow cat for emissions equipment.

You are aware that your car meters oil to be combusted right? cause a qrt every 500 to 1000 miles isn't too bad, if not about right. If you use the gas alot more it goes faster since the pump is connected to the throttle.

is there an obvious leak, if not I'd say your good. check the plastic lines going from the carb to the front of the engine. it will be behind your smog pump if thats still inplace. and your oil pan

well, in the past couple of days....I have taking off the air condensor, air pump, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, air compressor, a/c hoses, all the belts, I'm just about ready to pull the engine......*funny feeling in stomach* but still really excited and a little nervous. anybody have any good and realistic advice for me before pulling it out? Thanks.

Coil Upgrade: Was converting to LS1 coils to get off the stock wasted spark setup, but decided to go ahead and avoid any compatibility issues and install an LS1 engine also.
