swapped out my carb after playing with it off and on for 2 weeks. Runs great.
Replaced the plastic Radiator overflow bottle with an aluminum Moroso overflow tank.
Looks great!
Looking forward to the Saturday Meet.

I finally installed the new trans after I got it cleaned up. It went in like butta nice and smooth. got it all bolted up. Started fine. Went to engage the clutch and either I have a bad release bearing or fork, or the slave is not engaging it all the way. It is making an aweful spinning/grinding sound from that area when I release the clutch.
NAPA had a slave in stock so I will try that and see if I get enough pressure to engage the clutch fully. Could be because I have an upgraded Pressure plate. We will see...
Really want to get it on the road now that I have title tags and registration.

doesn't the slave cylinder use pressure to release the clutch? it would be constantly engaged if it was the slave not building pressure. I'd look at the throwout bearing. those can be noisy

just adding up the miles now. did my first oil change. 260 miles went by fast.
now if any of you guys are ever down this way you need to hit highway 30 between the dalles and mosier. actually you could just hit it from rowena to mosier. those twisties are so fun

Installed re amemiya rear diffuser on Galaxy Convoy's FC

Pop rivets, self tapping screws and a button head hex bolt.

Came out pretty nice. Jermey was quite happy with the results.

5 minutes later i go to open the handle and it breaks internally. awesome. my only key was in the car. only PLASTIC coat hangers in the apartment. tried 3 or 4 different fc keys and an fb key on the hatch. no go. basically slim jimed the door with parts from a chainlink fence and drove to del taco haha

replaced or refurbished most the grounds in the car.
60% of them had paint under the bolts!!!
the exhaust ground was hanging on by 2 threads of a wire. lol
went everywhere looking for a replacement wire. no one besides the internet had it so i sodered it back together and cleaned it up as much as possible and put it back on.
all other grounds were good but a did them anyways
