First and third gen. represent! There was quite a few second gens in the backyard. Gary always has his hands full, there's even single rotor motors laying around. Looks like I found the right guy to help me with this build of mine!

As promised, here are the Gt-3076 ball bearing turbos with TiAL motorsports stainless steel housings. Only waited a year for these! Included in this order were the V-band flanges and clamps. I've got a couple of more packages coming from TiAL, as usual-STAY TUNED!

I'll be sending these to the polisher to have the alum. done while Gary constructs the stainless manifold. It is being done in 321 stainless steel. More on that later!

I learned about Adel Wiggins clamps this week. I'll be putting some of these on the intercooler piping. The clamps are welded to the piping, not cheap, but do the job and look cool! Maybe I'll order my TiAL bovs anodized purple to match.

I'm actually thinking of taking the RX from the rx8 and the 7 from the cx-7 to throw off the public, making them think that my car is the next new seven. Especially with the super greddy 7 rear bumper kit, imagine their dishappointment as they leave the dealership minus the test drive.

Looking awesome! Those turbo's are pretty!

I've heard of this emblem thing before...

Yes, the clamps are in that price range for 3in. Definately not cheap!

The combining of the emblems to make a cursive Rx-7 looks updated and flows with the FD's body styling. I'd seen that thread a couple of months back, still like that idea. Thanks for the link! Efini badges are recognized within the rotary community, and would also add a bit of mystery for John Q. Public. I might add one on the rear, I want to keep the car looking clean looking also. Definately no stickers. The carbon Rx7 club rotary shaped emblem I'd sport. For now I'm trying to aquire all the rare parts before they become unobtainable. I see that RHDJapan.com and Japanparts.com are selling the super greddy 7 rear bumper kits. Anyone want to start a fund raiser to help a rotorhead out??? All in time though, I waited a year for TiAL to release the turbos with the housings, whats a few more years-I'm young and not rich.

I just put in an order for some new floormats thru Jason Strouss' group buy. I'm having him add a custom rx-7 logo like the previous one discussed a few posts ago. The mats wont be ready for a few weeks, but I'll post some pics when they show up.

Just the regular ones supplied with the kit. The shocks are stiff enough, that I'm only using one per door until they wear in. The doors stay up just fine with one shock also. Another cool thing about the hinges is that you can remove the door by taking off a plate and unscrewing the shocks. It only makes sense that I keep the wiring harness plug and play. I'm hoping to get a new job that is straight days with weekends off so that I can move this build along.

The rear mat should be ready in a week or so. I'm still going ahead with my plans for a sub enclosure with the rotor idea. The logo on the mat will be visable and should add a nice touch. I'm hoping the turbo manifold will be completed this summer, so I can get the motor built. The plan is to keep collecting parts, and finishing the doors.

For the bumper lights, I've decided to run the h.i.d. Feed kit with their lenses. I'm hoping that they'll be bright enough to use with out the pop-ups. I already have h.i.d.s installed in the pop-ups but I'm leaning towards a sleek mounted kit. But, which one to spend my $$$ on?

Option 1
H.i.d. R-Magic kit, These are 100% street legal in Japan. So the light ouput must be satisfactory. Would it look right with the Feed bumper lights? Lenses look kind of just thrown on, wish they were flushed in.

Option 2
RE Amemiya sleek light ducted kit. Not h.i.d. but I would modify it. I like the idea of more fresh air to my engine bay. Would these complment the Feed kit? Any ideas on other kits that improve lighting, style, etc.?

The rear bumper kit is RE Amemiya's super greddy 7. The kit doesn't come with the shown exhaust piping. It looks like they took their dolphin tail muffler and modified it with additional piping. I'm buying mine thru Rhdjapan.com . Should look great with my Feed spoiler. The bumper extends the top line of the hatch about 6" also.
