As promised, pics of the Aerofiber adj. spoiler, this one was wrapped in twin weave carbon fiber. Enjoy.

The center deck hinges on a pin attached to the mounting ends. There are several holes on the deck for angle adjustments. Comes with pads and fasteners. The spoiler uses the outer holes that the r1 spoiler attaches thru. The inner holes will be filled back in before the paint job coming up.

Here's my rear window shade all polished up by the Sevenlust, who by the way converted my tails to 99 spec. This was an accessory offered thru Mazda dealerships, I picked this one up from another forum member. The center hump is for the washer nozzle. The shade attaches with double stick tape, I'm planning on using industrial strength velcro along with stainless steel fasteners. That way I can remove it to clean under it. These are pretty rare but you might find someone selling one if you ask.

Here's something for the interior, a JL Audio 10W7 sub. Yes 26lbs! No more peace and quiet for the neighbors.

I've got Ken over at Shine Auto Project working on a pair of these Craft Company rear canards wrapped in twin weave carbon for me. These extend the lines of the Feed sideskirts past the rear wheels.

My inspiration, the Feed widebody kit. Just waiting on the engine bay to finished before I add all this stuff on. Here's another pic of the paint color I'm thinking of going with. Metallic charcoal grey/silver. I think it's a great color/shade to blend in the carbon fiber stuff. What do you think of these mirrors in silver c.f.? They match the interior and with the new paint they would blend in. I want your opinions, keep the stock mirrors or get these?

Good color choice and body kit, hehe. Be sure to get the HID fog light option on the lower accessory light setup.

The mirrors are cool looking, but you will lose a lot of rearward visibility. Those mirrors were on the formula race cars I used to work on and they always came lose and moved and the natural frequency of the mirrors was at idle. Hopefully these mirrors don't rattle or shake during idle or driving. Though, those do look like a quality produced.

What I always wanted to do was find some Porsche 996 mirrors and put them on the FD, the triangular shape at the lower A-pillar is pretty close.

I like the idea of mounting mirrors to the window triangles, too bad you lose the power adjustment feature, then- there's two holes to fill. Not to mention the $800 pricetag just for the mirrors with all the options. I would like to see the mirrors before I commit.
Keep up the great work, your project is progressing alot faster than mine. I wish you were in the Seattle area, I'd hang out and lend a hand.

You could always go with the mazdaspeed units, you would retain the power adjustment. That pic of the FEED race car you attached ^ has them installed.

Filling the holes will be involved since there is an indent in the paneling for the stock mirror footing and framework behind the paneling. It's definitely doable though. You could make a custom turn signal/camera setup to go there, but it would just look out of place.

No worries, we will hock-up one of these days. My dad lives up in Seattle, so I'm up there once or twice a month.

I opened an account with RHD Japan, they have some cool products. I think I'll put in an order for some silver carbon, pillar mount Craftsquares w. the antiglare lenses. Also I see that NRS is selling ceramic 3mm corner seals, I'll have to get Gary to add these to the build. TiAL has the turbo housings in stock, none with the .63a/r internals yet. Might have to piece something together.

Gary Brooks is designing and building the custom manifold for the twin gt30 turbos. I'm planning on methanol aux. injection kit, the same setup that Howard Colman is working on currently. 550hp is the plan for now. We're going to boost 15lbs and run a single exhaust. The turbos are finally ready, Gary wants to have the car at apple blossom. He's more convinced that everything will be ready in time than I'am. I think $ will be the deciding factor. I see over $10k in addition to what I've spent just to finish up the engine bay. I might go work on the car fri or sat. If anyone wants to come out and see/ help with the FD- just let me know.

Ken, your new paint choice is sick! Just don't blow a gasket when I have mine painted the same.

I'm going to add a set of these carbon fiber spliters under the Feed front bumper. Should compliment the Feed side skirts and balance the use of carbon on the car.

I'm thinking of getting this rear bumper kit from RE Amemiya. I like everything but the lights. I would modify the bumper for the 99 style lights. I'd also keep the Feed rear fenders to blend in the c.f. pieces of the kit.

Both rotors are ready to install. They have been flame reliefed, lightened, balanced, ceramic coated and milled to 3mm.

It's unbelievable how detailed you're going for in this build... Any particular reason? I can't even imagine how much you've spent and are planning to spend!

It's all in the details and giving 100% to make it worthwhile. I wouldn't be happy otherwise. I'm learning along the way, making new friends, and paying as I go. To me the build is just as important to my happiness as the end result. My goal with the FD is to show it and have the go to match. I'll drive it to club meets and on nice weekends. I've spent $$$, but the people didn't care about the car. Now I have to fix their mistakes and don't get to enjoy driving. This time, I'm doing my homework and working with the skilled and experienced people that I've hired to do it right. I don't care how much it costs or how long it takes to complete this project because it makes me happy everytime I spend time with the car. I like being involved and learning new things. Someday I'll return the knowledge that I've learned to my kids and fellow rotorheads.
