My FD build
RHDJapan.com package arrived! Scuff plates and 3pc. canards from Fujita Engineering (FEED). The front bumper canards are comprised of single 1x1 carbon fiber and will be rewrapped in twin weave to match everything else. The scuff plates are twin weave and match the door handles that I ordered earlier. Rivets will be used to attach the pieces together and to the bumper, after I get everything painted.
Be sure to place steel or aluminum backing plates on the those canards when you put them on your bumper. Especially if you ever plan to track it or drive at triple digits.
I picked up these rear speaker panels. They're going to house some mid-range speakers down the road. Haven't decided on a brand yet. I like these better than the storage pocket ones that came with my car. Also these are in better condition, less scratches. The Feed lenses and RE Amemiya super Greddy 7 bumper are next to show up. Can't wait. Work and school are taking up all my time these days, so the build is still slow.
Well, I just heard that the RE Amemiya rear bumper that I ordered, is built and is in route. I purchased it thru a direct dealer, who happens to be forum member here. I'm hoping that he'll read this and introduce himself to you guys. His name is Omar,(omes916) and he's been a pleasure doing business with and gave me the lowest price around. I highly recommend him for ordering parts thru.
No problem, Omar. I'll have some pics of the bumper posted as soon as it arrives. Speaking of pics, here's some of the Feed bumper lenses that just showed up and a shot of where these attach.
Thanks, Go Racer
I sometimes wish that I had a computer model of the car to try on all the options. I've been studying everyone else's modifications to see what works. Finding the time to work on the car is difficult when it's an hour away and the builder is always busy. I might bring her home to see what I can accomplish. The rear bumper kit is due to arrive any day now and I'm excited. The car will be different for sure. I was looking at the reverse light and thinking that I could improve on it by replacing the one light for two led bars in bright white. I got the idea from the new Audi's. I will mount them on the flat undersides of the bumper on each side of the exhaust hump. The look will bring some asymmetry which I think it needs.

ok, just read the whole thing. I forgot I read it like a year ago (lol). I wanted to do a parallel twin single setup but I can not fabricate or weld. My version would have been twin gt25 with internal gates. Why are you doing a single exhaust? In order to benefit from two seperate single turbos you should run a true dual exhaust (one for each rotor just as you have one turbo per rotor), thus releiving back pressure. If you run two 2.5" exhaust it would equal a massive 5" single exhaust but would flow better (with an X pipe) and would actually fit.
Hello. You are doing a great job on your build. I would like to show you another twin turbo setup that I found a few years ago. Please note how clean the two charge pipes come together. If I may suggest going with a 12x24x4 core for the intercooler. I would also have a the pipe leaving from the intercooler be 4" to the throttle body. If sound crazy but this will make ungodly amounts of power. Also note how the aluminum elbow is modified to a true 90 degrees.

I will have more information about exhaust scavenging later for your twin setup

I like your twin exhaust idea, with my new bumper I'd merge towards the center. How would 3" for each turbo sound. A high flow cat and a muffler for each? I'm planning on removing the stock fuel tank and installing a racing fuel cell. Routing the exhaust should be easier with the many types of fuel cell mounting options. Gary has been having issues with the SX fuel pumps burning up, I might be switching to Aeromotive.
your build is coming along nicely man
i was thinking about going with a gt30 gt35 sequential route one of these days; i just can't seem to get away from the sequential system

All in good time, this isn't a rush job. I'm building my dream car to last, perform and express my artisan personality. I told my builder to take his time, take care of his needs to be able to help me. But, that said, I miss my car. I'm a believer in good things come to those who wait. Here's some pics, my Shine Auto Project replica Feed vented hood. Ken hooked me up with many exterior parts. Here's some more angles of the rear bumper kit thats en route. And a couple pics of the interior the last time that I worked on the car.
I'm still leaving my options open, I like the Ikeya formula shifter. If I can have a reliable auto transmission capable of supporting my mods, then thats my first choice. I'm sure it's nothing a little money thrown at it, couldn't handle.

Sorry if I missed it, but is this going to be a street driven car? If it is, where is the center brake light on the rear bumper? Not to be a nit-picker, but with a build like this, you'll probably get a lot of attention from cops, and I'm pretty sure that's a required light.
This does look like an amazing build. I can't wait to see pictures of it all together.
