Fall cruise is usually mid/late October. I'll have a new thread up for it in a week or two. When it's up I will post a link in this thread so stay tuned.

What's going on with this new interface? Where's the big white rectangle to add to the thread at the bottom of the page? I had to quote the last post and manually delete. First world problems.

Anyone up for a quick jolt and meet tomorrow? I have a nail in my tire so need to replace the rears sometime tomorrow but the car will need a ride afterwards to get the juices flowing. I also have a dead battery (even though it's only a month old) but hopefully the new charger I bought will have that fixed before the tire shop. (But eventually have to figure out why the car killed my new battery just from being idle for only two weeks.)

We could hit up a brew pub as a destination, for responsible drinking of course. There's Ocelot Brewing in Dulles I wouldn't mind checking out. Marylanders can suggest some place too, I'm open. Billy Biceps?

Maybe 4 or 5 pm? Depending where everyone's at and who's in, we'll have to come up with a meeting spot.

Or there's Cars and Coffee Sunday morning. But it's so early for me.

Doesn't look like enough interest. My tire appointment is at 4 so it might too late afterwards anyways. Hopefully we can get some people together for a meet before the official Fall drive.

Sorry, got stuff going on today. I'm usually down for a Sunday morning C&C but I know the time and location are tough for many.

Any interest here in a track day Sep 30 - Oct 1 at Summit Point?

Sterling Sunday C&C is usually a good spot on nice sunny sundays, good cruising range

Hey Bill, yea I missed the last couple cruises :/ Still very happy with the deep sea blue pearl dip! Most track days welcome spectators for free. With many organizations, you can even get ride-alongs on track with instructors and advanced students as long as you sign the waiver.

That sounds fun but I don't see too much info about the track part of the event on their registration page. I don't have the facebooks so maybe I'm missing some info.

Yep, going to that as well - and FATT on Nov 10.

This is the best time of year for track days, when it's not 100 deg. Just hope i don't kill my car

Anyone near me that has a known good engine want to test a compression tester for me? This is the second rebuild and this thing keeps showing extremely low numbers even though the engine seems strong.

once I get my catch can finished up I can drive mine up to work in Alexandria. Mine is recently rebuilt with over 1,500 on it. I should have it tuned by the cruise if you want to bring the tester then.
