Buckey's Pro-Am Build: '87 Mazda RX7 TurboII
yep no doubt. real is always sick!
I like the quality of the 9k Racing ones. Forrest has the Aerocatch hood pins, and the quality is identical to me, but i'm no expert. I'm hoping they get their Dmax style Carbon FC hood going soon.

to me hood pins in general are so bad... but the way i have my Vmount ducting, and core support enclosed i can't use a hood latch.... i'm pumped with them. i had sparco ones for the longest but people would always open/close my hood, and the springs would break out, and get whored out..

about 50% done repairing the front bumper. all the other Aero is 100% ready to spray looking like new

i was going to shave the brake light along with the keyhole, but decided not to... the rear panel looks kind of plain with everything gone.

Gold foil tape fashion show.

Made mounts for my oil cooler, and fitted it all into the front bumper. Making some ducting pretty soon here.

Finally wire tucked all my wiring. took forever. finally no more loose/dangling wires by the pedals.

made a mount for my strobe light controller, and mounted the ECU a little differently than before. NO MORE PASSENGERS STEPPING ON MY ECU! lol

gas tank back in after bailing on the fuel cell after talking with Forrest. glad i bailed on it. still need to tie the tube chassis into the shock towers, and make a horizontal strut tower brace to have it 100% solid, then firewall it off, and make a new access panel for the fuel pump.
Yea i really don't like attending events i can't drive in.... explaining to 60 people repeatedly why my car isn't there gets old very fast.... i'm not too social when my car isn't running.
How was it? i heard Traverse took 1st? did you get the diff, and spindles on yet? You should've made podium man, where you at?!?!

If you're on Facebook, please check out Forrest's New and Revised shop page, click "Like" and re-post it in your status to help spread the word. Tons of crazy projects going on from truck S13 Drift car conversions, to multiple Skyline Builds getting the treatment from him.

Its like $400 or something for the basic design, and can go a little more depending on fasteners, plus shipping.
