Tuning went pretty good! Base map is done, car's running, and sounds amazing. luckily it survived this session. I really have to thank Forrest **** @ Get Nuts Labs for all the help with everything. Also Rotary Aviation for making the best Rebuild kit i've ever had. My motor survived a rapid fuel pressure drop, and 2 faulty secondary injectors. 8500rpm rev limit is going to be nice - a few more mph per gear is going to help.
ordering bosch 1600's, water meth, installing my bosch 044 fuel pump, surge tank, and redoing a bunch of wiring to make everything presentable.

Vegas PRO-AM Round 2 is ON. My come back game is in full swing.

it's going to happen. line locks go down all the time. you just have to do it on flamingo or trop, where you can bomb onto the freeway and do mad pulls to get away.

get your **** done and come down here!

putting more resins on my headlight cover. if anyone wants one of these contact streetportvert joel!

i sanded too much, and had some holes appear. plus i bent it grazing some cars.

glassing the last of my aero, and making a make shift spray booth in my garage, and bringing my car home to spray. almost all moved in finally.

viper red mang.
del sol green is rad as ****. way better than Scion XB limited green. the new **** forrest has uses way more pearl/flake in the base. it looks mental.

i need to sell my red or something. im happy with either color as long as the red dries the color im hoping it will with grey base.
it dries super dark on stir sticks. too much like the sexy style red FC with burst wheel wells.

yea i told him that if i went green it would be biting on justin's **** super hard, and it really would be. if he were to supply the paint then all day id do it for the team. but i already bought red. im kinda pumped on it. i do need to mix up a bit and spray my wing, and see how it turns out.

i didnt think about the spray card trick. nice.

i've been reading a bunch of threads, and doing some research lately in my spare time. finally got around to utilizing some of the info learned, and started seeing more clearly.

so i decided to rip my motor back down to bare bones, and go over everything. simplify everything more. make it better. basically anything quick to get the car to where it's easier to take apart, and have a shot at getting put back together in the 5 min allotted time frame during competitions.

did a corner weight. figured out if i moved the gas tank over to the passenger side ever so slightly it would make the car almost a perfect 50/50 weight ration side to side.

dialed in my alignment, and tinkered with the front spindle setup a little more. (still need to extend the LCA/balljoint, and get tie rods and then fine tune)

but most importantly i pulled the fuel system apart. traced every line, and cleaned all the hard lines out. over kill, to some, but i'm not trying to have a dead motor when it takes 5 mins, and is something you'll never have to worry about again.

pulled off my upper intake. started throwing away all my OMP garbage. blocked off the OMP injector holes, made a block off plate for my OMP.

labeled my harness being in OCD mode for others to help/understand whats what for those quick 5 min fixes if need be.

deleted my pulsation damper (for now until i get custom fuel rails)

fixed my starting problems. ran a new signal wire from the key to the starter.

removed & resealed my LIM gasket. replaced it with another new one for this year.

just waiting for some welding dealings to delete the coolant line that runs under the intake, and throw everything back together. then test fuel pressure (again) peep the wideband, and get to the 2nd Formula Drift ProAm event held by Vegas Drift, and hopefully get back in the points race.

here's some quick/horrible android photos of the stuff i remembered to take photos of:

laying more resin on my custom headlight cover a friend gave me.

repaired my broken shine wing. went to mount it, and it broke in half.. :/
so i taped it, and filled the inside with resin after making it more aggressive.

trying to repair my Shine 30mm fenders. theyre pretty busted from me being retarded all last year intentionally driving into cars/objects. i really wish i had another new pair to help cut down time so i can focus on tuning/testing instead of body work.

fraudulent tires randomly delaminating themselves, and ripping your fenders off kills all the holes.. making them super ugly. next season, if this car is alive i'm molding them in, and making a stock style wheel well to protect them from doing this again.

filling all the holes on my broken/used BN Kit, and new Carbon Shine Auto Project 30mm Fenders..

horrible at laying glass...but there's only one way to get better.

beyond fucked up BN Sports bumper i got... super battled, trying to make it cool again while learning some things while im at it.

Did you put a dime in the OMP spot on the front cover? It fits perfect and I've been told it helps keep the gear inside from working out and possibly binding in the little gap the block off plate has. I heard this years ago when I did mine. Not sure if it has any facts behind it. I did it anyway.

The engine looks so much cleaner with all the OMP crap gone too. No more worrying about snapping those stupid plastic feed lines.

I'm using a S5 primary fuel rail because the FPD is internal and can't leak the the gay S4 version.

I ran a new wire to my starter too. **** started soooo easy afterwards. It's the stupid stock anti-theft relay system that starts going bad. Don't forget to still tag into the stock starter wiring so the ECU knows it's going to cranking fuel map. I forgot the first time and the car wouldn't kick over.

How are you hooking up/Using the racepak. Those things are sexy as hell but the price of sensors is a big turn off.
