Buckey's Pro-Am Build: '87 Mazda RX7 TurboII
dude **** is looking SICK! i admire your determination for sure! I honestly wish i was motivated enough to clean my parts and prep/paint them 100% perfect. Maybe i need to get out of working on cars for a living so i can enjoy it again?

ill keep you posted as soon as they come in. sorry for the delays man.
ive got the 08 trailblazer LS2 3 bar map. my tuner and a few others were saying the values may read off on different store brand TPS sensors and it would be smart to get the haltech one as its only a $50 difference.
really not trying to cost myself a motor over $50 you know? been down that road before. i like over paying for peace of mind lately. it may not seem like it, but i HATE working on my car. i hate wrenching.... i've been doing it for customers, myself, friends, for the past 4 years..... im burnt. thats why i always paint everything when its off. it's easier to pressure wash dirt off of, and maintain. plus your car gets to a point where anything dirty stands out...
can't have dirty.

lol no one said this when i had them. haha i wish i would've known. it's kind of like dating a chick you think is hot, but no one tells you... so you're just stuck rollin' around busted. atleast 10 dudes have told me this after i sold them haha
17x9.5 + 15 / / 18x10.5 +15 SBC RPF1's. really wanted 18's up front, but going to give the 17 thing a shot, and if i dislike them keep them for rears as missile wheels to burn up cheaper tires at demo days and stuff..
At Irwindale my car was bombing on 20lb wheels. ABC's were whoring out my drivetrain pretty bad.
it was gay.
anyways, photos of the updatesssss:
Base coat finished up. letting it chill for a min as i got it pretty wet and saw a sag or two. so here i am updating the thread! haha

I see you have a sunroof. Are you going to cut out the stock seat floor mounting bumps to give yourself enough headroom with the racing seat? The FD rules say something about OEM floor if I remember correctly.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks homie. ordering RPF1's in 17/18 per your advice. thanks again for everything.
hopefully this year i can do the chassis justice.
still need some fine tuning of the steering setup. i'll try to get out there after this first event to buy aero, and hit you up to go over some things angle wise. hopefully ill have legit coilovers by then too for the full corner weight/setup treatment. ill keep you posted mang!

doodoo seat mounts and tall people have issues i guess but i dont.
Bride exas3, bride low mount rails, and the side mount seat rails are a pretty low combo. if i have an issue i'll recline it a bit, and remove the cushions like my old momo seat.
i do dislike this cage alot however. the door bars suck. i'm always racking my elbow off the top bar and going numb during events. i want to redo the whole cage next off season depending on how things go. starting to get really partial with this chassis after finally painting everything (tons of work) so i really want to stick with it.
