Buckey's Pro-Am Build: '87 Mazda RX7 TurboII

no offense to garret but i trust forrest's work. i wanted him to do it, but he's busy. i figured it would be cool which im sure it will be.
i paid forrest for some tubes to tie in the rear end since no one in vegas will let me rent their tube bender... trying to get the car there tonight to help forrest paint his FD car while he does the tube chassis on mine. i'm sick of the 4hr naps here and there. will be glad when my car is running for sure.
plus my landlord came by and said the car needs to be repaired tonight, or out of here.

flip lights up.
remove 12 screws to remove the headlight plastic trim (6 screws each side)
undo the 4 small screws on each light to pull the headlight out.
unclip the harness from the back. (may need to undo the harness from the bucket itself as its ziptied from the factory)
remove.
throw in new ones, and assemble.
**should take 10 mins if your car isnt rusted out. be careful you dont strip out the screws on the metal trim ring around the light itself**

another all nighter went down. going to the shop to get the trailer/borrow some wheels, and take it up there for the tube chassis treatment to save my car, and weld up the back end.
got the majority of the motor buttoned up tonight. threw in the 550/880 injectors, S4 turbo/non twin scroll mani, LIM, and bolted the throttle body up to the UIM. reran the vacuum hoses to the OMP injectors to clean things up. it's looking pretty good. more photos later in the day for sure.

time's running out.... just ordered the fuel cell, some -an's for the oilcooler/fuel system.
really starting to feel the pressure. got the car to the shop, and busted out alot of what needed to be done.
bought fenders, new BN Aero, front tires, RPF's, project kics lugs, roof wing... $2200 later and the car's getting to the point where the only thing left is labor.
still trying to finish body work/aero prep and paint the car.
waiting on parts to come in.... waiting for the tune to be setup. waiting for the haltech harness to be buttoned up. waiting for the tube chassis to be finished so i can spray the chassis...
10 days.

Would be bad *** to see it on some east coast events. i know summit has xdc at hyperfest and a 5000 tandem comp just incase your bored and wanna drive 25 hours you got a place to crash in va

the widest they make, with the widest spacers available to make it look like a BAWWSSS whip!
17x9.5 +18/ / / 18x105 +15 on 35mm spacers up front, full camber (spacers to let wheels clear at lock) and the rear is on 50mm with flexed fenders.
235/40's all around. big step up from worn out 215 federals i had in the front all year last year.
this car is getting the full treatment afterall. fuel cell, bosch044 external pump, all -an's, tons of Shine Auto Project Aero pieces, tube chassis complete.

Does anyone have hookups on legit clutches by chance??? i want to try to get some sort of twin plate OS Giken clutch, or carbonetic.
possibly exedy, but idk. i had one almost ruin an event for me one time, so i'm trying to stray away from them. anything is cool, new, used (must be usable for a bit or really cheap if not)
