yea unfortunately.... i worked with a shop for a few weeks, and got a partial sponsorship on the cage work + labor, and one of the stipulations were i had to run their logo on my gussets. that was for 2010, and at the end of this year if the car is still usable and not front end totaled i'm going to cut the cage out, and have Forrest do a rad cage with over the top gussets and the full treatment.

i could add gussets to this cage, and cut out the front gussets, but then redoing the cage would be that much harder so im just going to run it. they hooked me up with a good opportunity to drive last year, so i can't hate even though it turned out not as good as we had planned.

i wouldnt even want to drive my car out of state. i used to, but now it's just too far gone. not to mention my downpipe is straight dumping into my trans tunnel, and fumigating me to death. i need to get it all dialed.

took it around my block and did some pulls. it's fast as ****... it's going to be a good setup for this year. i can't get my turnsignals to work though so im going to sort that tonight and head out tomorrow or something to UDrift and try to get some footage of backwards entries.
******* horrible factory harness... i should've went painless when it was all apart. now it's going to be a bitch.

I'm down to meet up and cruise. I'm getting registration/tags hopefully tomorrow. Although I'm not sure how far I want to venture from my house considering the condition of my car lol.

Damn that must have been one hell of a drive. We all should make a cross country trip (in a yr. or 2 so I have time to work on my POS). Who needs A/C on a 2000 mi. trip I'm used to long drives I drive from Pittsburgh to Orlando twice a year for school but not in my FC.

Throw dry ice all over it. Let sit for 30 min. Smash with hammer. Pick up chunks

Yeah dry ice. Use a lot of it. I made the mistake of too little during the summer and it didn't come off in nice pieces.

Another trick my friend showed me was to break up the dry ice into a trash bag. That way you can easily move it from spot to spot as you hit the stuff off.

And a word of warning. Make sure you do it in a ventilated area. It's Co2 so make a big enough cloud and you won't have air to breathe.

im super ****, and i hit it pretty hard in a few spots instead of just getting more ice, and waiting so now i'm stuck with a sick paint job and mad dents everywhere...

for the storage bins, and tranny tunnels you can get like 3-5 bottles of the aerosol spray dusters for electronics, and spray them upside down so the liquid ice comes out for the "walls" that the ice wont stay on. get the area super icey and you should be able to just lift whole sections off.

i went out to Udrift tonight for an hour. did like 4 laps just trying to monitor everything. i think i cracked another iron but i'm hoping it's just my horrible stock oil cooler lines pissing fluid out... car ran like a champ despite a little breaking up (spark keeps blowing out) but it's definitely a whole new beast. never had so much angle in any car i've ridden in/driven before.

here's a video of my first run with some llanteras mix matched profile tires. another reason i didnt want to drive much was my baller diff just getting railed on by uneven tires... I'm still being a ***** trying not to blow up my car, and see how deep i can get without spinning out.

Buckeys FC @ Udrift

then another one. nothing crazy. ice skate tires suck but it was definitely good to get back into tossing my car around. i've been having withdrawals everyday for the last 7 months.

Buckeys FC @ Udrift 2

definitely a good shake down. definitely pumped on the udrift guys for supporting vegas pro-am, vegas drift, and the entire vegas scene in general. pretty cool no one has to grow up on the streets being stupid especially with the monthly pro-am/practice events with VD. Hope to see everyone at round 3 with my new turbo setup, and some more reliability mods.

Are you still using the stock oil cooler? I have some steel braided oil cooler lines somewhere in my garage you can have for free.

I have a v-mount and relocated my oil cooler so i cant use them anymore.

i am but i moved it closer to my subframe, and made drop down mounts. the lines still bolt to it, they just swing up where the battery used to be, and back down kinda.

i bought a front mount CX Racing 30row but i cant find the -10's online anywhere to thread into the rear iron. i got a steel -10 for the front iron from a friend, and just need the rear.

that would be sick i can use them until i find those fittings! i'll cover shipping, and pay for food atleast man!
