LoL! I was waiting for you to say that!
Exactly! Its almost like a superdark silver. The 3rd pic I posted shows what I mean. Yeah, depending on where you stand its a little different, thats what i love about this paint color. There is soooo much pearl. They also sprayed 3 layers of clear, with these new types of paint that translates into about 11 layers of clear compared to the way older paints were. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Yeah I just had my Z done in Ditzler/PPG shocking gold, and the way they explained the clear now is just so much better than it used to be, use less but the depth/quality is way better than when you used to have to spray 7-12 coats, I think they built better clear because spray, harden, wet sand, spray, harden, wet sand repeat 12 times was shitty, I remember them taking 2 months to paint a car now they can do it in 2 weeks nicely, **** my clear cost almost as much as my color, as is the case now so I am told. The House of Kolor guys effectively told me the same thing, I did not go with them because almost everyone I spoke to said the difficulty in using HOK and the fade rate if you ever put the car outside was beyond what I thought a street car should be, if you are going show all the way and to a trailer/to the show/back to trailer HOK is the nut high, most vibrant paint ever, but hell with that outside. the reason they used to put upteen amounts of clear is because in the laquer days the paint would go on so rough that you would end up sanding alot of it off when you sanded and polished it, it also had no catalyst so it was all air dry, by the time you got around the car you gave it a minute or so and went around it again.
Now we have high solids clear- and if you put stupid amounts of paint on its actually does more harm then good.
