Prototype LED FTP solution:

3 High Intensity LED spotlights. Have yet to test them on a car, but they might be a little better than a set of fog lights. Might cram 4 in there.

I didn't bother taking pics of the install. Theres really not much to it. Just measure where you want the lights to be and cut\dremel a hole in the back of the FTPs just large enough to slide the LED lights all the way in till the base touches the back of the FTP. Then glue them in place. These LEDs are completley waterproof so they should last forever in there even if some moisture gets in the FTP.
The spotlights have a 25 degree viewing angle so they should work pretty well for this application.

No lit pics at the moment. Yep 3 LED's in the one FTP. They aren't exactly cheap, but the intensity and beam focus make them worth it. I made the mistake of hooking one up to power while I was looking right at it. I was seeing spots in my vision for at least 10 minutes.

1. Well you should my opinion is obviously more important than yours, obv.
2. Yeah I have known lots of those people, including myself, those guys are idiots, you as well.
3. extension schmeshension.
4. good to have a body shop that backs up their work.
Honestly in all fairness I just dont like black for showing off nice cars, it just doesnt show everything as well as paint that has color in it, although I am sure you are going to love the car once its painted if black is your hearts desire, that earlier lambo paint you showed was sick, just wonder if it will look as good on the whole car.
Ftp's I can't really tell how far that is, or how bright how far. How far was that wall from where the light was sitting on your desk ?
Yes **** extension, if I could post **** links I would have just there but suffice to say.....ahem yeah.

If this were true then I'd care what kind of paint you think I should paint the car.
So you have never known anyone that was very proud of the way a car they owned and modded looked and enjoyed looking at there own car? Half the people on here stroke themselves to their own cars. Your not on a car enthusiast site if thats not the case. My car will be parked in a spot outside my house where I will be able to admire it from my bedroom window.
I need the extension. Its so small!

The FTPs are 6 FT away from the ceiling. Camera sucks *** in low light conditions.
Can't focus worth a ****.
The pics of the lambo paint look OK, but in person its another story. A picture just can't quite capture what this color really looks like.

24 feet night time shot:

^Camera sucks in low light at distance.
I think it was lit a bit better than that in person.
Beam Pattern:

Yeah, I'm gonna cram 4 in there. Theres just enough space to fit 4.

i know you have herd this before like 1000 times over but dam what a car!!! its everything a car should be. just wondering (and sorry if you already answered this in a previous post) but is this just a track toy or you planning on tearing up the streets with this bad girl every now and then too? i also really admire your attention to every small detail. What body shop is this? it seems like they are doing an awesome job. The lip for example. did they decide to fix it themselves or did you have to bring it to there attention? just asking cause i have previous experience with body shops, and while theyre really good at painting, theyre not that good at the small/somtimes big details....
Twice this week my best friend AND my wife have had the **** scared out of them when someone tried to run us into the wall or off the road on the freeway when they came over into our lane without even looking, in the middle of rush hour, only my cat like driving reflexes saved us :P

The body shop is M&V Auto Body in Schiller Park Illinois. The lip fix was my suggestion, and to be honest, I had not noticed it until the car was up on the lift. My suggestion was a little different for that area but after mulling it over with the shop owner and listening to his suggestions we came out with what it is now. Same thing goes with the upper bumper duct inner lip. I had requested 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. When the shop owner was working on that he decided to make it a full inch because it would look better, and it does. The shop owner also wants to make a change to the fender arches to make the lines more smooth, since the rest of the lines on the car are now smooth and flowing, so he's gonna do that too. So, yeah they are proactive in the little detail area, but they will usually call me and ask me first.
The majority of the ideas implemented on this car are all mine though.

Sweet. To be honest just my opinion but JDM USM BFM FUM or whomever I have always hated the FTP lenses actually, its not that the FTP's are bad or what not its actually the opposite, the TURN signal area is **** man Im serious **** **** ****, the FTP is a beautiful shape nicely mounted in a nice area but that one two three Holes in the bumper is nasty, nasty nasty nasty, on the last show car I did I removed the turns and integrated the turn wiring into an AMBer set of high powered led's into the Ftp along with some white for fTP, and removed the fender ambers, I was only after legal and pretty not that functional although the high pow amber was functional in the end more so than stock and the bumer was clean clean.
Let me illustrate: next post picture.
