Almost perfect compression numbers in the 120s. two tiny rock chip that are hard to find. Otherwise perfect inside and out. Looks stock with basic mods and reliability mods. With a PFC tuned to 295 on a Mustang dyno not that adds any value. Chris at Banzai did 95% of the work. All systems run perfect even the stock CD player. It is very near concours perfect besides the mods. It's Vintage Red. I have had or did myself all the maintenance like it should be. It is a 10 out of 10 or really close to it. It's been garaged it's whole life. It's garage queen of sorts that gets driven and kept up.
I've thought about selling mine a few times in the past decade as well but glad that was short lived. I'm at the point where seeing BAT inflation has made me bump my insurance to agreed value which gives.me peace of mind to drive on public roads. Was busy with family life but finally able to get behind the wheel more and still a blast to drive.

I've told myself that I have no intention to sell until I know what I want to get next which is why I don't foresee selling anytime soon.

My 94 touring has about 7,8xx miles on it right now. Other than the BBS Moda wheels.and ceramic coated dp, car is stock. I'd be curious what people think it's worth too. 😀

Wow.. FD under 10k miles. Very nice car...Best guess how many are left? Take it a step further and in that combo... got to be incredibly low numbers. Very cool

And here we go....previous accident but car looks very clean. I’m guessing $45k even with previous moderate damage.

It was interesting watching the previous auction... USDM red 95 14k miles in Canada. I think that's what held it back, the whole process to get it over the border especially with the restrictions in place. But man were some folks making a big deal about the tires. I thought that was going to hit $45k+. Reserve not met, it'll pop up again.

I really have a love/hate relationship with BAT comment section. Everyone wants to be an expert, some are very good comments but many are just asinine and offer zero to the conversation. For example:

WTF does that bring to the table?

Gotta show you're not a pleb and in the know on these mysterious rotaries. Never mind if you're a serious bidder or not.
I think I've commented once or twice on BaT...one was to ask the tire guy his reasoning. Still a good place to keep an eye on the upper end of what people are willing to pay!

if you overheat any car it will blow up....
the funny one was a the race track. Mr Ko was taking me around thunder hill in the FC race car for the first time (2002ish), and we were behind this turbo 911 with dealer plates. right before turn 7, there is this puff of smoke from the Porsche, something hits the windshield and we're in this big tank slapper. car goes one way, he corrects, car goes the other way he corrects, car snaps the other way and he lets go of the wheel and shrugs, car straightens right up.

Later we go see the Porsche, and a cooling hose had popped off, and the car was now a large paper weight...

Don't expect record prices on Canadian cars in November. People in cold states are not as interested.

There are also import costs to bring back to the US, if there was a US buyer in play.

I imported a 93 RHD Supra from Canada last year. 2.5% import duty and some fees. I think it definitely hurt that RX7 on BAT because it's scary for a first timer and they don't know what's involved. I drove mine across in North Dakota and the US customs people acted like it was odd for the buyer to do the importing. Brokers wanted like $1500 or more on top of all the fees just to be there and handle it.

For those who read my previous post, the first offer by the insurance company for my 93' that burned is just a tick under $50k. It seems like I'll be able to haggle a little more out of them, but nothing too crazy.

Yeah the color and the fact that it was a plain 12a first gen got me. But, low mileage eh?

Someone on FB pointed out that some guy has been buying a ton of cars like that recently, overpaying on some of them.
