I never put my car down in the Florida count and I highly doubt the 1st owner of the vehicle didn't either because of his age.

I just bought a 93 fd touring model, red, from Larry in NY/NJ.. That beautiful vehicle now resides in the center of CT!

 

Based on that rate of attrition, maybe 4,500 as of 2016

Add one 93 red touring in Fl. 2nd owner i bought it in 98. It has been unregistered since 2004. Rebuilt it and registered it this year

 

That's a great idea except for theft. If a partial vin would help track them but not reveal ownership addy, I would be all in for that.
