New wheels to replace the waffles so I can get some good rubber on the road.
Konig 15x7 silver:
The waffles with the RWL tires will be relegated to dressup days only.
Nice wheels, where did you get them if you don't mind me asking, I would like to get something similar, don't know of any places that have wheels for first Gens, particularly gsl bolt pattern

This morning I mounted my holley fuel pressure regulator to the firewall. I have seen a lot of people having clearance issues with the inlet at the pinch weld and the gauge hitting the hood. I used stainless button head socket screws and aluminum spacers that allowed me to mount the regulator in the perfect spot (Pics of hardware specs below). I will probably be adding a 90 degree elbow to the inlet side and sourcing a smaller fuel filter so the line will run straight across the firewall to the regulator. The other day I finished my fc fuse box install, so I just have to connect the power wire from the relay I added and mount the new Carter pump.
Picked up a 3 piece spoiler today (cheap). Received my boost prepped yaw nikki carb back from jeff20b today too. Not to long ago bought a jdm 12a turbo motor that i will be cleaning up and getting ready for install in my car after i change the intermediate plate and send the motor off to be pinned.
Last night I finally got my dash bolted in. I still had to wire the headlight retractor switch and the hazard switch. Got the retractor wired up in an awesome way. Pics and vids to come soon.
Yesterday I messed with the wiring for my headlights so now they work, but then i found out my oil metering pump **** the bed. So today I will be looking up everything about premixing and bypassing the pump. SMH hopefully my apex seals are fine enough to get me through this winter. I know I have a small compression problem because she doesn't want to immediately fire up when at operating temp.
In the last weekend or so, I've replaced all the coolant hoses, replaced the alternator belt and replaced the air pump belt. The coolant was very dark and had little chunks of rubber in it. I had to flush it three times to get it looking clean.
Does anyone know what the torque specs are on the coolant drain plug on the intermediate housing by the way? I couldn't find the crush washer anywhere, so I reused it and didn't apply much torque to the plug. No leaking or anything, so I guess it's fine.
I also washed and waxed my car as it got over 60 degrees yesterday! Looks pretty good, but I still have a bunch of wax from the previous owner caked in between the pin-stripes. He must of used some spray-wax or something. Unfortunately snow will keep me from driving it for probably a week or so. Any ideas on how to remove the nasty looking wax caked in? I started going at it with a toothpick, but I was nervous about scratching the paint.

I usually use my thumbnail, but some car parts places sell a "detailing tool" that has a wedge-shaped rubber tip that seems to work pretty well, too.
I've also heard a tooth-brush as well, didn't know about a detailing too. It's a blizzard out right now, so it's sadly going to be some time before I get the car out again. Paint looks fantastic other than the nasty wax.

those rims are also similar to performance superlites.
Yesterday (not today), I replaced the passenger side door weather-stripping, wow getting those little plastic clips out is a nightmare if they get mangled in anyway. I lost at least four or five in the door.
I replaced the current air-filter with a K&N air filter.
I checked the oil in the steering box. It was pretty hard to tell how much was in there. I used the flashlight on my phone and it looked like there was some oil in there. The FSM suggests "making a dipstick" , but I wasn't sure what to make it out of. I assume there is no way to drain the steering box, without removing it from the car?

Nope.
"lubed for Life" Just top it up, unless you want to get a syringe or some such and suck out the old stuff...
Reinstalled the bare rear end housing so I can determine where to route rear end cooler lines. Also looking for a place to put the electric oil pump and the cooler. This project will require more time....
