Thanks guys, means a lot coming from both of you.

Its vinyl and some padding included. When I get to point in the writeup doing
assembly you will see that when the cover is reversed.

I greased a nearly frozen wiper rack today. The electrical connecters crumbled during removal. Fun times!

Received goodies in the mail today! Got my 4 bbl 750CFM throttle body, complete with TPS, fuel rail with 4 injectors and fuel pressure regulator. This goes nicely with the RB 4 port 13B intake manifold that I got last week. My EFI upgrade is underway!

Hey Jeff - been there! I suspect every (?) 1st Gen has this problem. The sun gets at the connector shell and it crumbles to dust on first touch. Mine did it in 08 when I decided to pull the rack and clean and lube it. I used an extra connector shell I had around and re-pinned the harness wires (which were fine) into the new shell. I wrapped it in tape to protect it from the sun.
What surprised me was that the plastic wrapper for the motor was like brand-new! even the OE elastic band used to hold it on was perfect.

I installed a racing beat front sway bar with new links and poly bushings, new rotors, bearings, calipers, steel braided lines, five way adjustable shocks & struts, and racing beat springs. I can't wait to get my baby on the track...

Same thing here. I went to lube mine over the winter and same connector crumbled.

It turns out if you still have the stock speaker 4 way plugs in your storage bin, they are a perfect match. One of them is blue, too, which is a bonus for some folks.

Took apart and polished and reassembled the new rollers. 13x6 dura lights. Going with street tires for now. Might order some 205 60s in the future

Washed, waxed, wiped down engine bay... letting the car cool in the garage preparatory to vacuuming and cleaning glass.

Still thinking about that one, Mel. Not sure if I have the day off or not yet. Is there a cutoff on registration?

Here are the pix.
Definitely tailored for FB. The FC has two catches for the glass, one on each side, rather than the one in the center. Also it would have cut-outs for the speakers on top of the rear struts if it were for an FC.
Good find, there - I've never seen one. The one for FC is hard enough to find...

Finally got the newly covered seats in the car and finished the write up on the RB upholstery installation.

Now getting ready for B3R here in NC in less than 2 weeks. Have to fix some squealing brake
pads and find a tin rattle back by the muffler somewhere.

I got pictures of the Turbo FB after it's been with someone else for 13 long months.

Going to look at it tomorrow for the first time since I rode away from it.

Not sure how tomorrow is going to go.

Took my SE to my local muffler guy because I knew the 3rd Cat had a crack in it. When they got it off, found out the 1st and 2nd cat where completely empty - Totally shot. So now they have to order both of those Cats (they had the 3rd one in stock). This is gonna be big $
I'm kinda amazed the car passed smog last year in this condition! Only good thing is my original rear muffler is still in great shape.
With the car on the rack, I could see a small oil leak from somewhere that runs along the floor pan and drips out even with the front doors. Rear Main seal? If so, cheaper to just keep putting in oil LOL

Drove it!

Weather is so nice here I have been driving it every day.

Running great, although contemplating putting in a lighter oil. 20w50 GTX is in it now, and its almost time for an oil change anyway. I picked up some 10w30 after doing a bit of reading. I think it is a better idea as it starts to get colder here.

Finished detailing her, took her out to buy gas, then loaded up for JCCS. Leaving at oh dark thirty. Gonna be great weather for a change, too!
