Michelle said you said something on the ROTORLUTION page about a fuel pump? no I do not have one any more. might want to try vipers though. he might have one laying around.

Yeah I did, my car sounds like it's not geting enough fuel to stay on and in my shop bible it's #2 on the troubleshooting to replace the fuel pump. My cousin got a FD pump and will give me is stock one & somebody offered me a TII pump for $50. If the the pump is not the problem then the injectors are tripping.

So hopefully tomarrow (wed) I can do something to my car.

Hehe I think I'll finally be able to make the next meet! Finally got some of my goodies installed. First I had to relocate the battery...

To make room for this...(forgive the dirty engine bay...she's a track *****)

Eh you'll probably smoke my ***. My car's slow. As long as it'll get me around the track with low air temps and good coolant temps, I'm happy.

I've done all I can do. If somebody could swing by and listen to how the motor sounds when it's cranked I bet they could find out what it is. I don't want to have to get rid of my Fc.

i'd have second thoughts about the dual friction. those things wear out about as fast 15 year olds hump.

so I was under the impression that my jspec automatic motor was a series 4 motor, but today someone told me a way to tell them apart. according to that advice my motor is series 5. but according to previous advice it's series 4. does anyone really know how to tell the difference between the series 4 and series 5 jspec automatic motors?? i'm dying to get this motor in my car and i cannot do so until i know i have the right flywheel and counterweight on!!

easy... is the oil metering pump mechanical or electric? does the turbo have 1 or 2 solinoids coming off of it, one on the manifold and one on the turbo? is the thermostat housing aluminum, or is it black and plastic?

s4.. mechanical omp, aluminum thermostat housing, and 2 solinoids on turbo

s5... electric omp, black plastic thermostat housing, and 1 solinoid
