well the harness was pretty brittle lots of heat damage, after putting it back on the block I realized I didnt want to trust it anymore because some wires where breaking

 

the RX-2 is not getting very far right now. I have not had much time latley. I did get a chance a couple weeks ago to work on it a little, I fixed the float on the carb, and move a bolt that I think was in the way. It seemed to run a little better, but not like it should.

I think the front brakes are not working AT ALL. so I need to take a look at that. but I did get the hood on it now, so thats kinda cool! cant wait to get it int he garage (once the race car is shiped out this week) and start really working on it!

oh yeah, I also fixed the starter problem on the 2. the damn starter fell out the day I baught the car. but I got it put back in.

how is your race car comming along? any updates?



on a side note, I won yesterday at the autocross. so thats pretty cool. only 4 drivers in my class this time though, so that kinda sucks. would have been nice to win by beating more people. beat an Evolution, and 2 supras. (same supra, 2 drivers). Evo was on some pretty serious street tires, as with the Supra. I was on slicks. (but much smaller then both cars) Evo was fairly stock, Supra seems pretty well built.

 

yeah just finishing up the intermediette housing and working on a adaptor plate because of the diff housing were using 12a with outside 3rd gen housings who did u sell the 7 too and how much

Rice, Sold the car for $1,600. but I kept the engine, trans, clutch, MSD.... he got the car the ignition system (minus MSD) and the fuel system.

he is going to strip the car BACK down, remove everything, and put a turboed Mazda 4 banger in it, and turn it into a Pikes Peak hill climb car. (it will be a backup car from what I gather)

 

well, i traded in my hyundai and got an 03' mazda protege5.. came w/ a k&n cold air intake, full magnaflow exhaust... lol... definently an upgrade from my hyundai

 

oh yeah I'm thinking about trading my integra for a 85 Toyota Carolla or AE86...lol...a upgrade from low power to RWD low power. Jesse I'm just playing with you

 

Haven' t read this thread in awhile. Nice car jesse, thats what emily and I wanted before we got the VW. I did a trade myself, but I downgraded from an FC. I got a 89 crx. I'm going to do some minor head work then slap a turbo on it.....yes I know, still deciding on what to do with it.

 

whats up bud i got back from that deployment arrive back to find out my car parts were thrown away since i moved back to gov housing....bro i had the harness you needed in there

this set me back a lot on the rhd setup...so is the protege fast or what bro

 

well, at the moment, the car is at the dealership getting wok done 2 it...... i bought it w/ the check engine light on and a rough idle......they are doing all the repairs for free (obviously) ..... i guess one of the spark plugs collapsed, so now they are gonna find out why and fix the problem

el nene... shes not a turbo rx7, but for a daily driver, shes perfect......especially concidering shes only running on 3 cyliners

 

Jesse i was told that when i get to cali i have to smog my car for on base ...i need help i am sure i wont pass pm me with your advice

I want to go but I don't want to drive my Interga and I don't know when my RX will be done I have to learn some more stuff befor I can work on it agian, oh yeah I also have this real bad water pump leak only when it idle's though.

 

what do you mean for on base, you have to have it registered on or off base regardless and with that comes current smog to do so because without current registration you cant get a base sticker, which they are dicks about at the front gate
