Hey guys, since I haven't seen anyone in a looooonnngg time I thought I would give an update. My friend Ron with the white 240 blew his engine. We were going to try and make it to a meet with it, but now we dont have something that can run the mountain. My rx-7 is no longer white. And thats about it.


Jess, nice ride. Who owns a truck that has a Pirate City sticker? I saw a truck rollin in Riverside a month or so ago with a giant Pirate City sticker in the back window.

Well guys I've got a start up deadline in place. If everything goes o.k. I should have my sivler T2-RE swap running by the end of April. Hope to make it by May.

I think I should go buy a lotto ticket today. Here is what happened. I was driving up highway 320 into runningsprings which is by lake arrow head when my radiator hose came off. I pulled over right away and reconnected everything and coasted down the hill into highland were I filled it with water. Some guy came out of the store were I parked and helped me out whith my car. It just so happened that he used to work on 7s and was very knoledgable. I thought that a coolant seel blew because the motor would go immediatly to hot and it wouldn't hold water for 3 minutes. Will I towed it home today expecting to get started on the rebuild. I dicided to check the thermostat and to my great joy it wouln't open at all in boiling water. Still a little worries thow because twith it peggin out the temp gauge a seel could still be blown. will I got lucky again and they are fine so no rebuild. Just need all new hoses and a new water pump since a steady drip is coming out the weap hole. I thought it was funny how there was no white smoke and it still started and ran fine. Worried for a day that I wasn't going to be able to go next saturday for the drive with you guys. Will thats the story and I know most people don't get so lucky. See you all in a few days I hope.

Hey Little Con/ Matt, when is your B-Day in April. I have a few spare parts laying around I was going to give to you. One in particular is pretty sweet and I don't think you have one. I would tell you what it is, but that would kill the suspense/ surprise.

sorry its been a while guys, i been working like a slave during prohibition. i will definitley make it to next weeks meet, unless the job says i have to work. i have a quick question, will the gsl-se carbs fit on a gsl 12a???? it looks like they will mount, but not sure.
