Hey Nick, there were hydrocarbons in my coolant since I got it >_<. I would've flushed it but it wouldn't of been worth it since the coolant seals were screwed anyways. Oh well, soon my car will be back to normal if not better!

Ben makes everything better heh

manual > automatic
Good motor > blown motor
Ben's TII > Stock TII

some of ben's handy work puttin the vaccum nest back together, funny thing is, this looks fun compared to the electrical work i've been doing.

You should just convert it over to non-sequential, then you only need 4 vac lines.. or was it 5? Instead of 76 or whatever it is. It's been awhile, I forget.

Maybe you should convert them I like the feel of sequential, but i've never felt single except a TII so I wouldn't really know.

cause of the problem found, broken seal wall, upper right corner on front housing, verdict: housing will need to be replaced.

another thing i found, a solid piece of something went through the engine, the rotor can be cleaned up but the rotor housing is questionable, i have extra housings if you want to replace it Bert but it will be an additional $100 for me to retrofit a good n/a housing to work for this. the housing may very well work fine but i don't like the pit and the chatter mark right after this point, it will put added stress on the seal, if it was an n/a engine i would say it would be fine but for an engine that you plan to upgrade i would suggest replacing it.

and you better start servicing your cooling system every 2 years or less, i would say it contributed to the failure of the coolant wall but not completely at fault but the coolant literally looked like mud...

I'm back. Arizona kicked ***!! We should all move out there. Anyway, glad to hear that so much is going on.
Bert, I'm sure you can't wait to get your TII back
Tim, glad to see that you are posting again. We were all wondering what happened to you.
Ben, looks like the rebuild is going pretty good. Are you just working on it when you get home at night and on the weekends?
Jake, best of luck getting your FD sorted out.

Anyway, we're back in town for a bit. I'll be leaving May 23rd for 2 weeks and then I'll be back again. Can we try and plan the June meet for somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd week please? I'll be leaving the last week of June for 4 months!

Zach

Berry and I will surely be at the June meet just as long as we can work out a convenient time for everyone. We'll be looking forward to seeing all of you.

Jan,

Or deployment stuff works a little different now then it used to. We do 4 months down range and then 12 home. That is just how this base works though. The rest of the AF does 4 months down range and 18 home. Sucks to be at Beale!! (Like I didn't know that already though. )
