not really the forum but i wouldnt go past 12 psi on stock twins and intercooler. also, get an apexi pfc just in case you decide to upgrade more. trust me you will upgrade more.... its a sickness. if you have other questions just post them in the 3d gen forum dont post them in the dyno result area

We had Steve come up to the great white north (westside) this past weekend. My car had a few teething problems...in the end, I apparently have no boost control other than the w/g spring, the fuel supply decided it didn't wanna play at the upper end, and we learned that plastic connectors and hot downpipes are enemies.

But considering all my lack of preparation, Steve did a great job (IMHO). Here are the plot and log. I'm sure they not from the same run but I can't find a log sheet that had the same max HP on it.

Edit: forgot to list parts...

A-Spec GT40R
1/2 Bridge
756/1680cc
Bosch pump
PowerFC (and dead Boost Option Kit)
Turbonetic NewGen Swingate
Custom VMIC
Midpipe
A'PEXi GT-Spec catback
other crap

Hedge! Nice numbers!

I know little about tuning but I thought low 12's 11 was a safe AFR?!?!

Thx...I thought those were decent numbers too...given all the problems I had during the sessions. We had a bunch of pulls that started to show less and less power ...360..340..320...etc. Then the operator said he had it with some crazy load (like for testing tractors trailors).

Not sure if the lower AFR was because of a) Steve's planned tuning, b) pump starting to give due to oem wiring, c) discrepancy between Steve's own wideband and the dyno shop's wideband at the tail.

Here's a noisy vid of one of the runs...this is a bit too loud for me. Vid of one of the runs Edit: <-- 6MB WMV file

424hp pass was made with a known low compression rear end motor.
430hp pass was normal from what I know.

286.9 whp
254.7 rwtq
14.8 psi
10.9 - 11.1 AFR

intake, dp, hi-flow cat, exhaust
Koyo rad
4 x 850cc injectors, PowerFC
stock IC (haven't installed the SMIC yet)
stock twins(simplified sequential setup), manual boost controller (home depot)

Tuned it myself. I suppose there is more power to be gained by swapping the IC.

My FD dynod 278hp

I was kinda expecting 300-310, hoping for 320 but it did well, need to fix the AFR dip tho.

Mods are in the garage: https://www.rx7club.com/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=78551

I'm no expert but I'd think around 260-270? The hf cat is worth a lot but with stock boost and ecu I don't think you'd get a lot out of that setup. Also I'd think itd run lean with the hf cat and the stock map... May wish to watch out if that is what you're running, PowerFC should be next.
