That torque reading doesn't sound right... esp for that hp level. You must be making a lot more torque up top than down low to read like that. Do you have a dyno plot to share? At that boost, I'd imagine you'd be 300+ whp/275+ wtq on pump gas... but what do I know

Mods? That graph looks kinda low for a street port.

When I had the stock IC, I was making 286hp/256tq @ 14psi

i have a xs rofl wastegate that i think might be leaking though...and when i'm flooring my car it seems to have a flat spot and takes time to build boost for such a small turbo

I think something mechanical is afoul for that big of a discrepancy.

I'm making between 310-320 whp (need to dyno again), and I'm still on a stock port/stock turbo.

My dyno plot after going non-sequential, adding an HKS twin power, and adding a streetlite flywheel. Temperature in Dave's shop was 98 degrees at the time of the best pull....377.5 RWHP/312 RWTQ @ 15 psi.

Slightly on the warm side...Right around 65 degrees, IIRC. I plan on going back down to KDR when the weather's cooler and putting down close to (if not over) 390 rwhp.

Question have any datalogs?

Hm, never seen a torque curve like that, how it slopes up like the hp curve to redline. Your car probably feels like it just keeps building acceleration when boost comes online. If you rev to 10,000 rpm you'll be way over 300 hp :-p

Yeah, make sure your boost pressure isn't doing something weird. Do you recall what the boost was like? A variation of a couple of psi is going to give you very different results... like 20-60+ hp assuming all else is equal. I know when I had my car on the dyno, I had some issues with keeping boost steady up to redline.

By just looking at your torque, and comparing how it looks compared to others, looks like you may have been boost creeping... would help a lot if you had a datalog(s) of the dyno pulls... I know some people say "I made xxx hp @ yyy boost" and what they sometimes don't mention is how the boost changed with gear and RPM. I know I make a little more boost in 4th than third. My peak boost is about 1/4 psi or so off of the "steady state" boost (when it comes on it rises and then flattens out to redline).... etc. If anything, boost creep lends itself to your wastegate being a little "closed", not open.

Maybe this isn't the place talk about this, but it would help "diagnose" the hp if we had more information on the tune and boost and gear, etc... Either way you shoudl get you car professionally tuned as you have some really good parts on your motor.

Picked up my car Saturday, from PF Supercars.

553 rwhp, 411 tq at 22 psi, on VP Q-16.
T67 turbo, with meth/inj. This measured on a Dynojet.

Now the cool part,

475 rwhp, 345 tq at 17 psi, on PUMP!! Yes, 93. And,
453 rwhp, 326 tq at 15 psi. on pump.

I had no idea this car would pull this hard. I'm glad I didn't go bigger!!

My hat's off to Ernie, and all others, that race those 700HP plus motors!!

MD latest numbers

here the latest numbers on the new set up.

streetport, gt35r kit, greddy big frontmount, hks twinspark, 850/1600 injectors plus all the little crap.

we did it at about 15.5 psi and the turbo just ran out of gas. i love how it drives on the street. we made 380 on the 11psi spring which is where i drive it "most of the time".
