hey thanks. yeah with more fuel and more spark that i swaped out right before the tune, the acceleration is crazy. i can't imagin guys pulling 6-700 whp street driving. its plenty fast for me now till i finish suspension/drivetrain. My tune was done by Steve Kan in S. Cali last saturday. AFR is 10.7:1 .. so yeah.. its plenty rich. i'm not sure about the exact intake temp during the tune, but when i left the tune it was around 32c. Might've heatsoaked a bit afterwards.

Hi all!

Here's mine: (417rwhp and 324 tq at 16psi and AFR's in the low 10's)

I built a new engine with stock seals.

LARGE streetport, GT35R T3 short manifold, 750/1600, Power FC, custom V-mount and all the other stuff to support it. I was also running an SMB Cat with resonator and a Racing Beat dual tip.

The rest of the list is way too long .

Stock twins and motor, GReddy FMIC, APEX'i Intake, DP, SMB metallic cat w/ resonator, Racing Beat Dual Tip CB, 1300cc secondaries, fuel pump, underdrive pulleys, Power FC tuned to 14psi on 91 octane.

AFRs were approximately mid 10s at full boost.

256 rwhp on a MD100 Mustang Dyno.

I know the Mustang Dyno is consistently lower than the Dynojet, but the number still seems a bit low to me.

Don't see this anywhere so far? Am I missing it? What is the baseline for a stock 1993 FD RX-7 TT? Anyone have a link or personal Experience? Thanks!

It does look a bit low. I was able to get 286whp with the stock motor, turbos, and IC.

Went to the local drag strip this weekend. My best run was 12.9 sec @ 108.9 MPH. 256whp is probably a realistic power number for my car. I'm guessing my car is tuned too rich.

Would you guys say that there's a bit of hesitation during the sequential transition, or does it look normal? Or just not enough info to tell? Relevant mods are stock 13B, '99 spec twins, PowerFC with default mapping, ceramic-coated HKS downpipe, and Blitz SMIC.

That looks like a normal sequential dyno to me. At least thats what mine looks like.

My manual boost controller allows the transition to happen a little earlier, but other than where the dip is, my graph also looks about the same.

^^^

Aside from the street port, I have a very similiar setup and I'm only expecting ~320 whp at my next visit to the dyno. What gives?

How much boost do you plan on running? For what it's worth, IAT's during that run were right around 30 degrees on the PFC, and it's worth noting that my turbos are VERY strong. You should EASILY hit the numbers you're looking for...I hit 330 rwhp/286 rwtq on 12.5 psi with a leaking coolant seal and sh*t motor.

In fact, when we rebuilt the motor (motor does have just a hair less than 1k miles on it) Dave @ KDR commented on the fantastic shape my turbos were in. We also needed new rotor housings, new irons, new e-shaft, new main bearings, etc...

Otherwise, all of my other mods are listed in my sig. Greddy intakes, full 3" exhaust w/ DP and MP, XS Power SMIC, Greddy pulley kit, airpump delete, BOV, 850 primaries, and PFC...and I thank Dave @ KDR for a great tune, as always!

Your AIT don't me anything if its the stock sensor assuming it is because of the PFC. I have shown before that that sensor will never show true temperatures for a single run. It would take at least a minute of constant peak temperature to actually have the sensor saturate.

How the hell are you guys getting so much power? You sure you weren't boost creeping a bit up top? Share your dyno graph please (sorry if I missed this). That's pretty amazing, sequential too. Care to share your PFC map with me?

Actually, my boost began falling slightly toward the top due to the PFC's lovely boost controller. I will gladly post my dyno graph when I get home for you! (Right now I'm out of town on business).

As for the PFC map, that is all Dave working his magic! :P

In fact, if you watch the video and keep a sharp eye on my boost gauge in the second run (leftmost gauge in center pod) you can see the boost fall as he creeps toward redline.

Here's a conservative tune on a street ported non sequential running 10 PSI. Was going to go 14 but my ignition coil needs replaced..was breaking up at high rpm's.

289 WHP, 287ft/lbs torque.

Stock LS1-T56 swap.

I know its a conversion but I thought you guys making more HP with close to stock setups would like to know. I have my graph but I'll have to dig it up.
