So my pilot bearing repair has turned into an engine swap.
Ive resurrected my half bridge port motor, thanks to Juan for fixing the front iron.
The motor is built, just need to finish installing the things on the outside of the motor, then put it back in the car.
Then get it running.
Tune it.
Have fun.

Depending on what I get done Friday, Saturday I might be: putting motor in the car, and/or: getting it running & tune.

All are welcome to come over an hangout, watch, help, whatever.

Also if anyone has a banjo bolt that fits the FC Pulsation Damper, I need one. Or ill have to rig up a temporary fix.

I really don't know of any good shops down here. Emphasis on Good. See what 20B10AE has to say - he seems to know the situation on the folks in the area.

 

Got everything back together to the point of filling it up with coolant, that's when I discovered I need a new water pump.
So I ordered one.
But it will be a couple more days till I get her running.

Back in sc after living around the knoxville tn area for 7 years. My fd is still in tn at moment hope to bring her down here soon. Would like to know of any meets in cola or char.

 

So I might have my 7 running by Saturday, so I could bring it to cars & coffee that morning.

I got the Bridge-port started and running today.
Brother helped tune it. It needs more work though.
Its drivable.
We're going to be doing more tuning Saturday.

Probably not going to C&C though.

 

Any one going out in Cola tonight? I been commuting in my 7 so it's ready to go.

 

So... My engine should be finished up at Rotorsports Racing this week. Is there anyone with a truck that would be willing to go up with me and get it and bring it back to Columbia?

i finally tore down my engine. two busted coolant tracks in middle iron. and two chipped apex seals



i am rebuilding with oem 2-piece apex seals and hi-comp rotors

still trying to decide between s5 n/a or s4 n/a rotors.. 9.4 or 9.7 compression? hi-comp on 15 psi boost should be badass
