There was a kerfuffle forum-wide. Now there is another fora for rotary car club(s).

Many of us have moved on from spending time on internet forums in general...

You're right up the road from me. Closest next is Jamin and his brother(? cousin? Not sure).

I see Reese and Nic from time to time; we try to slide some photography referrals their way. Reese has blown up ∞ engines.

After 5 years of being back in the Lowcountry my turbovert is in more pieces than when we moved down here.

So... nothing much

Yeah, I have been hearing of the RCC or whatever they are calling themselves. I don't even know where the meets are anymore. I haven't spoken with Jamin in forever, still talk to Derek from time to time. I am looking at a few options to try to get back in, definately do not want to end up with someone elses unfinished/half-assed project though, haha. The GF said I could get another 7, I told her to watch what she wished for, haha. I think Reese would be okay if he could just downgrade to a Ford Escort or something like that, probably green in color making like 50ish RWHP. Love ya' Reese.

Oh, Reese finally bought a daily but he didn't exactly downgrade. Now if he can just keep from tinkering with it... I kid, I kid, none if us can resist the call to tinker.

Hit me up some afternoon and well talk rotary shiat.

Yeah, I don't do Jack or Schitt on Saturday mornings. Otherwise, C&C would be a great idea.

I will be back in town in early June and will be hardcore looking for a ride if I don't find one before then. I will be down for a meet if nothing else but to catch up.

Looks like the DGRR was awesome! Wish I could have been there. Still looking for a decent 7 though so I will be out for a bit yet, definately going to try to get into some meets though when I get home as long as I can two-wheel it there, haha.

Hi guys. I'm giving you locals first dibbs before I start a for sale thread. I'm selling a ton of parts and will throw in the car for free. S5 turbo engine. Jdm internals, new Atkins cryo apex seals, New coolant seals, low mile ported housings, street ported irons, fd uim and spacer, Denso 720/720. Rtek 1.8, 255 fuel pump, bnr stage 2, greddy fmic, greddy turbo timer, greddy ebc, act stage 2 clutch, 2 short throw shifters, jdm trans with lower 5th gear in great shape, modernized s5 tails, New illuminas with new ground control coils overs, New cusco front and rear strut tower braces, mono wheel, sparco pedals, blitz bov, braided oil cooler lines, rare jic titanium 4" turbo back exhaust, plus whatever stuff I'm forgetting. Builder warrentied engine but he lives in the mountains of nc. Work 17x8 and 17x9 wheels, dry rotted tires Car is a true 90 turbo car. No major body issues except the horrible paint job. Black interior needs seats upholstered, corner vents, radio surround, drivers switch, etc. Clean title, but would probably be easier to use the car as a donor for an na to tii swap. I don't want to part it out. I will sell everything for $3500 firm or trade for a swapped crx, 5.0, or an interesting car I can get some enjoyment out of. I have a kid and no garage so its hard to work on stuff. Pm me if interested as i won't be on the se forum.

I don't know if anyone around Charleston is interested but every Friday night a group of Miata's, 240sx, and I have seen a yellow FD make its way there before. More cars the better.
They meet at the,

Island Plaza
1291 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412

Usually people start showing around 10. Hopefully I will be buying an FB like I used to have so I can get back in the car game.

they are just my old sterns. its got manual steering rack, n/a trans and LSD, manual windows. its just missing an engine and harness. interior is crap and will probably get gutted. im just going to build it with the parts off my old FC, still have most of them lol. and paint it white again. not quite sure what to do for an engine.. i have lots of S4 TII engine parts laying around, it would be easy to through one of those engines back together, or i may go with a 13B-REW

Getting rid of a bunch of parts and an '87 FC shell. Figured I would see if any local are interested.

- Full 5 lug swap with new reman front turbo calipers
- n/a diff and axles
- correctly de-powered steering rack
- no engine, trans, or driveshaft
- interior is 90% gone

$500 gets all the parts and the car. Would make a great missile or the shell alone should be worth at least $200 at the scrap yard should you choose to part it out. Will not come wheels so bring some to roll it out of my garage.
