So no one wants the 2J powered FD? T76.......

 

I'm in Summerville, SC and would like to meet up with someone with a FD to help me convince my wife that a FD is the right way to go... when I was young my dad's friends owned them and I fell in love, recent financial situations have provided me with the opportunity to find a toy and before we make a trip down to florida to look at a few, hope somebody wouldn't mind meeting us somewhere and helping me convince her. who is down for cars and coffee charleston tomorrow? I will bring the FD if you want to check it out, its not the greatest example of its kind though lol. and the coolant seals are going out. on second thought, maybe you shouldnt show her my car lol

look for a blown fuse or a relay.

 

alright i got the diagram yesterday. all of the relays looked good and the fuses looked fine

lol yall are rough, you guys know of any painless type harness kits out for the car?

 

try replacing main relay. coils get power via the blk/yel wire

 

ok, ive got power now. got it to fire a few time it runs so well. now its flooding, i think the injectors may need o rings and seals.

 

I'm going to Cars & Coffee Saturday morning.

I say pull the injectors out and send them off to get cleaned I use injector rehab they do good work and are inexpensive comparing to some other places. once you get them back in the car you can tell a huge difference with some nice fresh set of injectors.

Where is the best place to get dyno tuning near Columbia? Most of the placing I am finding online have gone out of business. I'm either shelling out for dyno tuning or buying a set of rims in the next few weeks.

 

theres not anyone that I would really trust to tune a rotary around these parts.

 

I just move to Greenville, SC from Puerto Rico. There is a local group or something around here. I had a project 84 12a that I used to run with my dad in track days back in Puerto Rico. I have a 2001 S2000 but eventually will be looking to get one RX-7 or maybe an RX-8

For the time being I will like to meet some owners, shop or anything rotary related
