the only sliding i found in the 10thAE is when hard accelarating (spinning obviously) and drifting. but i notice in other cars like going around a turn at speed the back end tends to dip in and squat which are bad struts. so just check your struts by pushing on all 4 corners checking for sounds and equal amout of travel both up and down.

Yeah, I just did the push on the 4 corners thing: both front corners feel pretty stiff, but the rear is bouncey, goes almost twice as far as the front, and makes a weak sorta groan sound.

Of course my tires on the T2 are all but shot in the rear (can't imagine why?) and the front ones ain't that great. Even a sprinkle and the rear end is loose, and if it really rains the front end just doesn't track for anything. One of the things on my great big list of things to do for that car is tires and a digital align along with suspension replacements and/or upgrades.
I don't notice any difference on wet roads.
I thought it just felt like it was shifting, until Friday on my way home and I might have turned a little sideways (scary yet fun), right where Wake Forest Rd becomes Blount St. (couple blocks N of Peace). Don't ask me how Wake Forest Rd jumps over to Atlantic

If you have bad tracking while the roads are wet -> Tires/alighnment

If your rear is shifting after you hit a bump while slightly cornering -> Struts most likely, possible other worn components in the rear.

If it feels sloppy while cornering when you are pushing the car to its limit-> worn suspension, and like jesse said, the rear steer eliminators really help

Whether you knew something was wrong or not, I believe I need some money in order to get this fixed, and seeing as I just bought the car from you I believe I should not have to pay for it.

Email, PM, or call me. Whatever you need to do, but we need to talk.

Anybody else, help me out if you can....
I would have to disagree with you. The way you are approaching the situation is all wrong. Once you buy the car, its yours, it’s like that with mostly any used car that you buy. There is no warranty unless there is some paperwork stating so, especially something as minor as a battery. I mean, that’s just a maintenance item. You can get a new one for like $50. I just though you had a lot of nerve saying that Joey should pay for what ever am wrong with it. I have met Joey several times and he is a super nice guy, but that doesn’t mean you should take advantage of that.

I have sold several of cars to people on here. I know your probably thinking I’m a real jackass, but all of them will tell you that I will help them out if they need it, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to pay for anything that needs to be replaced

The battery going bad isn't anybody’s fault, especially not Joey's. **** happens. If he wants to help you out with it, then that’s up to him, but it just really pissed me off the way you were handling the saturation.

yeah thats pretty indicative of bad shocks/struts in the rear. luckly thier very easy to replace on the 7, it also gives you an opportunity to put some racy stuff in thier

Yeah, I know I came off as an *******, but you gotta understand I was pretty pissed when it happens... If you were in my shoes, would you have not had your temper get riled up a little bit?.... Considering I know NOTHING about electrical problems I kinda feared the worst.... And if I DID have to replace something that would not go bad overnight (like a wiring harness) I would expect a morally upright person to help me out in the situation.... Especially if they knew of the problem when they sold me the car....

And I am not trying to "take advantage" of Joey... I know he is a great guy, and that is why I was sure he would sympathize with me....

Ask anybody that has met me, I am a nice guy and don't take advantage of anyone.... But I expect the same from other people.....

Oh and thank you for all of the offers of support.... I'm pretty sure I won't have to make use of them, but it is nice to know that there are people that can help me out when I need it....

This probably had something to do with the battery problem! I agree with Steve and the others. We all help each other out around here.

Well I replaced the battery and it started up fine....

Advance Auto Parts' battery test is NOT a good way to test a battery....

Oh, and Joey... I'll be needing that $50 that I let you keep back...
