That's Good News Tray! Welcome back to the Bright Side!

What did you get? Is it running well enough to get it down here for the April 2 OGTA Meeting?

It's shaping up to be a historic event, first daylight OGTA meeting of 2019 and the LE will be there.

It would be great to see some of you Out-of-Staters and your Home Brew Rotaries!

got my FD back on the road... sitting just under 700mi on the rebuild/return to life... and hopefully this week I'll sort out a misfire it just developed last night after swapping transmission... but yeah, i would hope she's running well enough... could you PM me the info/details on the OGTA April 2 meet? My calendar says I have a british car club meet but I could miss that for a trip to Atl to see old friends.

Yes Trey, the V8 in the FD was Wrong. Very Fast, but Very Wrong.

My guess is you went with a stock TT 13B to make up for your Boinger Sins.

Three additional holes in housings are needed for NA to work on a 20B rotary.

Gave up on bucket list of having three generations of black Rx7’s. “Settled” for this...not a Rotary but still aMazda.

Do you think that bag of bolts would make it all the way down to Atlanta for the April 2 OGTA meeting Paul?

It would be good to see you. And the Miata if it makes it.

You too Tim, you coming down? Is the SA road worthy?

Tommy.. a Renesis?!?? Uhhh no. Actually it’s perfect as a boinger. Atlanta? Dang.. that is tempting and yes Ray it would easily make it but I would not sacrilege the event with a piston engine, Mazda or otherwise. If I came (5 hour 56 minutes) it would be in the SE for sure. That’s a lot of time in the 7 all at once.. I love her to death but ohhh my back is already killing me thinking about it. I’ll definitely put it on my memory stick but I used up most of my PTO time being sick most of February. Thanks for the invite!! Talk about clean though.. check these out for 11 years old..

Ray, are you really planning on making your Bi-Annual appearance at the April, 2019 OGTA meeting?

I'll be there Holly, trust me.

Paul you know that Boingers are not going to get a lot of love on this thread.

But I do love your Miata, she sure is pretty. So bring it on down to Atlanta, let's see what you got.

The Miata will be easier on your back too.

And don't worry, we have a special parking area for Boingers, might even be some more Miatas there.

Tim, what if I could talk Mike and Robert into coming to the April 2 meeting?

Would that be enough Rotary Gods for you?

Not to mention Trey?

That's the Ghia's color.... And I think I over bought on paint. So I might have enough left over for a first gen; if you swing by I can squirt yours.

It looks kind of purple to me James, are you sure you didn't put too many coats on?

Are you coming down for the April 2 OGTA meet?

It would be good to see you and the Ghia there!

Artic metallic blue

Na, the Ghia is still about 5 months out.

I might see if I can get a schedule change... looks like its gonna be a hell of a turn out. There is some floor care equipment I want to buy in south Atlanta. But I might take my wife's car (way better fuel mileage).

Mounting spots for license plate, emblems, etc.

There is a BIG diagonal emblem that reads "Karmann Ghia" across the back right of the deck lid. Its suspended by four holes.
