Yep. He's a poor loser. And a poor winner as well.

I'll bet he's even bad in bed. He buys those fashion models you know, marries some of them.

How can you respect that?

Ray, be careful, you just called Trump a winner.!!

On a more important subject, is anyone going to Deals Gap?

Good point Robert, thanks for catching that.

Correction: Trump is a 100% loser with absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Not to mention he threatens world peace and the survival of mankind.

Now on to more important issues.

I'm hoping to get the LE up to Deal's Gap with the freshly installed Train Wreck 12A, but I've got to do the Jeep first.

Looks like a warm dry weekend coming up, I think I'll head out there today an take a look at that gas tank.

I have always leaned to the conservative side, but I consider Trump to be the dog that has caught the car and has no idea what to do with it.

I would like to be there for the install of the 12A, would love to hear it fire up!!

I'll be there.

I already have a two hour seminar prepared on why Trump needs to be impeached for the benefit of the Rotary Community.

And yesterday I went out and uncovered the LE, she sure is pretty.

But first I need to get this damn gas tank in the damn jeep:

And I agree Robert, Trump is a dog.

Ill-tempered, poorly house trained and ugly as any junkyard bulldog there ever was.

And thanks for the tip on running for President Collin, if Trump can win anybody can.

This country is stupider than anyone ever imagined.

I think I'd have a pretty good chance running on the Rotary Platform.

you may be right about that. Then again he might surprise us. Telling china to keep the drone was my kind of response. So far I'm good with his cabinet too. I've said all along that he won't be in between. He will either be the best or worst president we ever.. but then again I don't think anybody can top Obama in the worst category. As for deals gap I wish I could. I haven't even made a Tuesday ogta yet. I suck!! One thing for sure .. I will make a Tuesday night when it warms up in the spring. My 5 letter runs so good I'd drive it to China and back and never fret the decision. Fuel injection!!! My nephew lives in Marietta so I have a crash point. Ray!! You ever gonna get that fine looking LE going?? Screw the jeep.. priorities!!!

2016 was indeed a rough year, first Trump gets elected and now this. But at least we still have Racing Beat.

And here's a fine looking SA for sale, link courtesy of Max, for those of you who are suddenly rich now that the Trumpster is in office:

Even Fox news is mainstream compared to the phony alt-right propaganda that's become the Republican mantra.

First they lost their brain. Then they lost their heart. Now they've lost their soul.

I've voted Republican before, but never again, they've committed unforgivable sins.

Now it's all just Republican sleaze being led by the biggest Republican sleaze of them all, the Trump Monster.

I wonder why the first act of the new Republican congress was to trash the Congressional Ethics Committee?

Maybe ethics are a bit old fashioned for today's Republicans?

Maybe some of them are afraid of being put in jail?

You guys thought the Trumpster, assisted by the Russians, a Republican congress and soon, a packed Supreme Court, would be fun.

But can you spell Tyranny? Putin and Assad-style Tyranny?

Coming to your neighborhood soon.

The pigs will be flying everywhere.

I have something non political to share... Check out the latest on my engine swap. Old engine is stripped, parts are getting cleaned and painted before reinstalling, and I had a little fun with some gold heat tape...

Bling bling

Bling bling indeed Brent. Way to keep this thread on topic too!

I have some bling of my own to share soon. I'll post up when I get time to do the
writeups and load pictures.

Ray we want a weekly status of your progress on the rx7/jeep situation.

If I told you about my adventures with the Jeep fuel tank Tim, you would accuse me of falsely judging American products.

(that would be the Jeep; engineered, manufactured, sold, and after-market messed upped royally by that American Car Manufacturing Giant, Chrysler Motor Company).

I ******* *%&^ Jeeps.

But this one belongs to my sweetie, so I'm going to fix it despite Chrysler's best intentions. It'll be nice, you'll see.

Anyway, the summary is we're waiting for more parts, we'll see what happens when they come in (yet another adventure in Jeep Auto Mechanics).

But don't look for updates, I've been banned.

I don't know why, but probably for multiple reasons that I agree with so I'm good with it.

Brett's unit looks pretty good however, don't you think?

Non-politically, I mean.

Let's leave it to Brett to post some stupid thing every day to keep the thread going.

So let me just add as a final statement, that I'm pretty sure Putin elected Trump.

non political brakes

Ray you have not been banned [can we even do that?] i just enjoy seeing more rotary related content on this site and i can never resist the chance to poke the bear. Now heres a preveiw of my non political brake kit for rx2,rx3 and rx4.Currently testing on the rx4. I did not consider Trump, Hillary or Putin while making these. Old school mazdas with vented rotors and over the counter available calipers and pads. https://www.rx7club.com/images/smili...y-evilgrin.gif

Nice! Did you get someone to cut the aluminum or did you do it yourself?

I was going to show off some 3D printed FD stuff I've been working on but your project kicks mine's ***...

Water Pump for '79

Quick question for the more experienced:

I think my '79 RX-7 may need a new water pump (I think the bearing may be bad). My question is where I should get it. Here are the options I have identified:

-Pretty much all of your typical auto stores (Autozone, O'Rielly's, Advance, and Napa) seem to only carry remanufactured pumps in the price range of $25-$30. This includes a gasket.
-Atkins Rotary sells new Aluminum water pumps for $80 including a gasket.
-Mazdatrix sells a factory Mazda water pump (steel body) for around $80. I believe a gasket is another $13 on top of that price.

So it boils down to two questions; remanufactured or new, and, if new, factory or aftermarket?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!
