I wish we knew if this would fit on an 81 S model..... Even though aftermarket is only like $35 more

i think u read that wrong. it's just one sa with 81 engine, and a spare 80 engine that needs rebuild. good deals either way.

the SE has the tall rad like the 12a cars that run the bee-hive cooler. i'd bout bet it would bolt right up.

GKW, I have a nice radiator I bought brand new several years ago and only used it for a couple months before pulling that motor and selling it. Coincidentally, it was in an 85 gs, even though they are the same for all s3's. You are welcome to it for 50 at the next meet. I also have one of the aluminum 3 cores brand new in the box that was made for the s3's if you need that. At 100, it's less that you can buy them new, plus no shipping charges necessary. Let me know!

Thanks Project. I'm sure I'll take one of them.
What are the specs on the used unit? aluminum? brass? 2-core?, 3-core????

If he doesn't pick it up and we find out its s2 compatible, I have a buyer for ya.

Gotta start building my t2 exhaust, anyone got parts?

Sounds good, just let me know. I've also got the GSL-SE radiator support brackets available for a few extra bucks if those help.

Anyone have some spare waffle lugs for this guy? He's done a great job restoring his waffles but
doesn't have all the lugs to get them mounted. BTW, I nominate redlightrich as an OGTA too!

this was posted about in the new member section. new wheels in 4x110.

OS Mesh - ROTA Wheels

seems they have more options

http://www.rotawheels.com/wheel.php?id=120

check the wheel collection link. they have quite a few in the sa/fb pattern. don't know what the weight of these wheels might be tho.

The OS Mesh are 15.5 lbs each. Theres a thread discussing it now:

Rota Makes SSR Mesh in 4x110? - RX7Club.com

I kind of like the mesh over the mini-lite look but I'm sure they are hell to clean.

I had the BBS version of the meshies, and yea, they are a pain. I would not want them in silver for this reason. I would want them in gunmetal gray, doesn't look like they come in that color.

'Vert wheels, BBS meshies, waffles, the original 83 LE wheels, they're all a piece of cake.

If you know the secret.

With the NBB, five SPW and you're done. (SPW = swish per wheel)

Beware the pretenders, these polyester units last about one or two washes, then the ends curl up.

And here's a nice pair of tokico blues for only $70:

There is a 1985 RX-7 for sale at Garmon Auto Services near Stone Mountain. (5484 Five Forks Trickum Rd, Stone Mountain, GA 30087). The car has been sitting there for a year and is dirty, but he said the dirt wipes off and the paint looks good underneath. The sign in the window says one owner, 52,000 miles, $4,500, drivable, AC, 5-speed. The shop owner says it was clean and running a year ago when it was parked out front and the lady was only selling it because she wasn't driving it. Since it has been sitting for a year you can probably get it for a good bit less. Might be a good deal if any of you are looking for a low mileage FB.

looks like someone bought this and after some work, is now flipping it for substantial profit.
