Old guys with 12As club meeting
The wheels that are currently on the truck draw the eyes attention away from what is otherwise a nice looking truck. Instead of the low profile spoke wheels perhaps something more normally found on pick-up trucks like a sold steel wheel in a matching color with regular profile tires?
You guys aren't giving those bronze wheels a chance.
Brett's poorly done microsoft job doesn't do the bronze wheels justice, they're more like pink bronze and he's got the rotors painted.

Billy said powder coated bronze, which I take as a rich metallic golden color that really pops against the brake rotors.
Can anybody photoshop a nice set of bronze wheels for us?

Well, it goes something like this Aaron. Take this picture:

I think that is one really ugly looking FB. Right out of Mad Max.
But, since you posted it, I'm holding out the possibility that it has some kind of redeeming feature.

Hey, for not having Photoshop, I thought that came out pretty well...
Do any of you know of a good transmission shop around Cumming/Gainesville? I barely got the FC back home this morning- the tranny started making some awful grinding and crunching noises about 15 miles from home so I just kept it in 4th... It's had a whine for about 3 months but it wasn't a high priority of mine. Rather than swapping in another tranny in unknown condition, I'd rather have one of my spares rebuilt properly so I don't have to go through this again in 2 years.
Of course this would happen when I'm serious about fixing the damaged quarter panel...

Here's a really nice one for folks in the area, a really pretty black 85 GS with the gray interior, unmolested:

Be nice to see this unit at a future meeting!

I met this guy in stone mountain last month. My regular mechanic recommended him. He found nothing wrong with my transmission and did not charge me to check it out. He's an old school mechanic and seems to know his stuff.

Does anyone have an extra engine under cover panel for a first gen? Mine seems to have disappeared in some recent rebuild. this is the metal panel that attaches in front of the bottom of the radiator and goes back to the front of the oil pan.

The one on the left is slightly bent but easily fixed in 5 minutes with a block of wood and a hammer.
I could check into shipping I'd you don't find one closer than 24352 zip code. Or if Holly and Krista (SP) want to stop by and get it on their way back from Baltimore that would be easy. I could also get it to Tim in Charlotte. ... The price is whatever you want to pay me after you get it.
I could also just bring it to B3R.
Just let me know.
Pulled the car cover off to charge the battery. Opened the door to pop the hood and what did I see? Mold!
My wife has been complaining how much rain we have been getting, but this is a little much.
Battery charged for an hour and the 7 started up!
See you tonight.

Darn, forgot this was the 1st Tuesday, I've been out of touch, lightning took out the internet (again) this weekend. I'll try to work it to make the meeting tonight (usually around 6:30 -7:00, right dudes?) but I'll need to catch a tail wind.
Kevin I'm hoping you snagged that copper tone FB, it's a beauty. Even the targa band looks good on it. Post some pics when you get it home!

Four cars and one Rotary Motorcycle. Plus, New member Syn Lee picked this car up in Baltimore and drove it down.
Well Ray, you missed it. Last night’s Rx-7 Club meeting at the Tilted Kilt, Crit's 1976 Suzuki RE 5 Rotary Engine Motorcycle! A half liter size rotary on two stroke oil. Water cooled with headers! Nice!
Not many of these out there these days.
