Ray, Erica was wondering if you could take a look at and adjust her carburetor at the meet this month, she says she's having flooding issues if she gets on it hard. Someone told me you have magic hands when it comes to the 12a carbs

 

It's called "laying on of hands" and any OGTA with a bit of Nikki experience can do it, no tools required.

 

I have a bit of experience adjusting carbs from my early days of driving ('68 Nova) but Id rather just let someone who has dome it time and time again do it and I watch and learn lol.

The sticker isn't old school enough, it has the newer "M" logo. You want one with "MAZDA".

If you guys can swing by Jefferson this weekend, I can lay hands on the Nikki and kick the tires to make sure everything is working right.

Weather for the March 3 meeting is looking kind of dicey.

 

I'll have to see what she works, we live a bit from Jefferson.

 

Actually the weather for next Tuesday's OGTA meeting isn't looking too bad.

It'll probably be wet and rainy. But it'll also be 65 degrees.

Which is better than wet, rainy and 32 degrees.

Take Erica's new FB over to the OGTA meeting next week, I'm sure Mike will lay hands on the Nikki.

If he hasn't lost his touch.

The add says they are 13Bs but the ones with rat's nests are probably 12As.



Could be a fun project if you can pick them up for a decent price, say less than $200.

obvious the beehive says 12a. the other one at top of pic probably is too. i'd say all r 12a.

 

I'd say its about an equal gamble, 12As or 13Bs.

Anybody buy these yet? Please post pics of the insides.
