The White One II is an 84 GS soon to be GSL Greg. Thirty years old next year.

Those seats would be useful to toss junk in, too bad they're in California.

Speaking of rear seats Mike, you should get one of these:

SkyActiv technology and rear seat room galore.

Just a reminder to all, I'm holding $25 in Tilted Kilt bucks from our last visit, when most of us didn't get the discount we were supposed to get. So we've got some money for pitchers of beer for all those of age.

I have a commitment after work tomorrow, but I will try to make it for the business meeting. Don't use up that $25 too fast, Holly.

Picked this complete car up today in Shenandoah Valley Virginia. He claims it ran until he parked it last fall. '85 GS with spare transmission, rear glass, perfect hood and front filler panel between head lights, 4 original wheels, 3 steering racks, 3 RB down pipes to eliminate the two cats, New in box pacesetter muffler, front bumper, loads of interior parts, the list of used spare parts (and new in box goes) on and on. Original bill of sale and Window sticker included.

Nice find Aaron, you forgot to mention that it has a nice set of original 14" '83 LE wheels! Great wheels, very hard to find.

Yeah, it was late and I was to lazy to type everything on my phone. But I knew that you OGTA guys still had sharp eyes or good magnifying glasses. BTW, motor and 5spd only has 120k on it. It has already had a GSL axle conversion done too. A new interior was installed in the late 90's (after a claustrophobic dog incident) so it looks great. Almost as good as my first GS. I'm going to have to come up with a naming and or # system now that I have three tornado Grey fb chassis.

Aaron, Ray came up with a really sophiticated naming system. It goes like this I, II, III, IV, etc

Yes, I agree totally with Mike. The use of Roman Numverals to denote specific examples of a series it totally appropriate in this case.

I would suggest the Tornado Series, as in Tornado I, Tornado II, Tornado III, Tornado IV etc.

Or TI, TII, TIII etc, if you want to **** off the turbo guys.

Alternatively, you could name each one of the 7's after one of your kids. Which means you need to get one more 7.

I am so glad that here on the forum I can tap into the upper echelons of knowledge and creative thinking. Lucky me!

Sorry I did not make it to the meeting last night. My back went out and I simply did not have the energy.

What was the count anyway?

No, that's your job!
I think Louis or Holly got a video of the RE5 running, but I didn't think to grab pics.

Re-Building The Nikki

Re-Building the Nikki

Having just up-graded to the Racing Beat Exhaust system on my 1984 GSL I decided, With Ray’s urging, to go ahead and clean and re-build my Nikki Carburetor. I had done this several times in the past with my first 78-1/2 Rx-7 and once before with this car about ten years ago. I later learned from Ray that there are several filter screens that I was not aware of. Plus we found that I was missing a check valve and weight. One float level was incorrect. The car ran fine without all of this but it was not perfect.

Thus, according to Ray, I was living in sin. OMG!

After three days work in sweltering heat and a trip out to Ray’s Shade Tree Emporium, I got the Nikki back on the car and running.

See, It was Un-Clean!

So I broke it down and packed it up and headed for Ray's

We broke it down at Ray's and dipped it in Berryman® Chem-Dip® Carburetor and Parts Cleaner, Nice!

Ray lent me his an old Nikki to use as a guide to put mine back together. Another good reason to own a spare Nikki!

Back in the car again

Make Sure those fuel lines don't leak.

A Clean Machine!

Maybe I'll make it to the next meet! The FC even has working AC, that's all the reasoning one should need...
