^i have been. finally something ported, non-turbo, that i can get an idea on how i stack up. just don't think mine's all that fast. maybe i've just gotten used to it.

 

^ hey Michael it's been a while. I feel like she still has alot more potential but I'm enjoying her the way she is. Everyone keeps telling me to strap on a holley with a racing beat carb, but heck my Nikki that Sam built me seems to be perfectly balanced for the engine. Watch this video of her 2000 Rpms to 9000 and there is no hesitation in the transition. The funny part is I'm using the larger SA carb with stock primaries and 200 Holley jets for secondaries. off topic. not trying to thread jack but i think one of you could use my car. I have met some of you at a couple of the ogta meetings. I have a killer deal if anyone wants this. my gsl-se is being parted due to rust and other issues. engine/harness is sold. and other parts have started being stripped but are in my garage! Will sale to a local for $400.00! I have another car coming in a week and need the garage space. It has no wheels on it so you would need to bring some 4x114.3 wheels with you to tow it off. Rear end/tranny and hubs are good! pm me if interested!!!

Of course Tommy. Ray always wants to change it but we have to meet the 1st Tuesday of every month. It's going to be very cold, so bring hats, gloves, and warm coats. We'll do most of the socializing inside. And of course there will be those who wimp out. I'll be there around 7pm.

Well, was there a meet last night? Our 5 year run of, first Tues of the month, consecutive meets is on the line.

 

Of course there was an OGTA meeting last night, it was the 1st Tuesday of the month and of the 2012 NEW YEAR.

The FEs ruled in quantity, but tied in points with the FC, due to the PreProduction. But the Old Sckool RX-2 RULED with points for the night.

 

Ahhh. Good to know our string is intact. Hopefully I can make it next month.

 

Not sure it qualifies for a meet without any FB's. We'll have to check the rule book on that.

There may be and Old School clause, I can't remember.

 

Of course it qualifies as a meet [one old school trumps six rx8's] 3.5 12a points . We had that many points Saturday at Rays with 3 cars LOL.

 

I'll make it one of these days. I promise. My schedule sucks.

 

You have to admit, this was a very impressive turn out for the FEs. I think this is a challenge for us SA/FB guys for the Feb meet.
