I'm definitely down for next year. My teaching schedule will be changed, my house will be refinanced (3.25%, confirmed just this afternoon - yes!) and Obama will have a lock on the polls. Be a good time for a weekend in the mountains with a bunch of rotorheads.

You guys have seen this, right?

The solenoids aren't replacable independent of the starter, are they?

Nope. My buddy's GSL-SE has been sitting for a while with a fuel delivery problem. Pump couldn't get fuel to the motor. Using a vacuum pump, we could get fuel there though. He tried a new pump and new filter. Then we checked lines, in-tank filter, etc, nothing. Ends up the pulsation damper on the pump was blocking flow. PITA.

My FD had the leaking one. No fire though (I think it leaked too much fuel to catch fire). Car was down a bit for that one.

Just too much wasted time with those things.

Yeah, that's a new feature the forum gods added. It is the number or years you are have been a member of the forum, in 5 year increments (5, 10, 15, etc). I think everyone gets them, starting with your 5th year.

Who is planning to come out tomorrow night?

I've given up hope on the Jefferson contingent (Ray, Dean).

I'll be there. And I learned through the grapevine that someone we haven't seen in a long time may be there. Of course with that description, it could be Ray.

I usually show up around 6-6:30, to an empty parking lot. But the Important People start to dribble in around 7:00.

Be good to see you Mr. Watson!! I don't think we've ever had any Alabamians at an OGTA before. I'm bringing my camera so the event will be well documented.

Ray sounds like we need to sample some local brew with the gang. I also have a weird noise coming from the engine bay, it sounds like a bunch of Bees. Maybe Mike can offer some hints as to the noise issue. Although he may want me to add some dryer hose as as the fix, Hey I'm open for any help.

Dean Ole Buddy! Be good to see you, you must have at least a few more gray hairs since the last time. Did you pop the hood and check for beehives?
