This is Mike's old car. Seth just bought it. It moved a short distance down the road. It will be getting my old 4 port 13B SP with S5 rotors as soon as the semester ends. We plan to both have our cars on the road very soon after the break starts.

Mark your calendars, the 12-6-11 OGTA meeting is coming up.

Since it is getting dark early (already dark by 6:00 pm, I noticed) should we try to move up the meeting time to say 5:30?

Agreed! i get off at 530..well most people do!! and after fighting traffic from 3 different highways.. i am luck to show up around 7 =)
If we can relocated the meeting to somewhere in the middle of Atlanta, would be better because there are alot of us dont live on that side of town!

 

Well, it looks like Ray made everyone happy with the 5:30 suggestion.

I guess we better keep the standard 7:00, with early arrivals at 6:30. I am told, by the people who can make it by 6:30, thats when the really cool people show up.

The OGTA meet is the first Tuesday of every month, at Twisted Tavern, on Horizon Drive, in Suwanee. We have not missed in years. Always room for another rotorhead.

Ray, I think you could really enjoy having Herman Cain for president. I have to admit Bill Clinton is still my favorite. Come to think about it these two have a lot in common.

Responding to the question of where and when the next meet is made me go back and read the first page of this thread. It was kind of fun to go back and read about the first official OGTA meet. I noticed that we are coming up on our 5 year anniversary. Our July meet will complete 5 consecutive years with a meet every first Tuesday.

Who would have thunk?

We need to have some kind of special anniversary meet this coming July.

 

I'll come down for that one, not sure if Ray will show up tho

ray, my birthday is the 26th, not the 28th. not that it really matters. haha. i'm gonna try to make it out to this meet. depends on what time i get off work though. last time i came was 3 or 4 months ago and i didnt get there til about 9:30 because of work... only billy, crit, holly, and kristy were still there. maybe a few more of you guys can hang around this time?
