Several leads to an FC and none of them has worked out so far... Sadface.

What I find funny is the consistency of this 'game' that gets played.. Allow me to explain:

When I have an RX-7 to trade/sell, no one wants it because they want fuel efficient, practical, reliable cars...

When I have a fuel efficient, practical, reliable car to trade/sell, people want horrible, unreliable, beaten up sports cars that they can go pretend to be ficticious anime drifters in..

Every time...

... maybe I should get a Honda ... At least then I can be considered a 'cool kid' while saving gas... lol

Somebody save me from myself and shove a second gen down my throat before I choke on Boinger fumes.

I thought that one looked pretty clean.

Be patient Collin, don't get something you're going to regret less than a month down the road. Be content with the Golf for a little while longer.

Hey Ray, yesterday afternoon while I was out pounding the pavement on Jefferson River road the best looking silver Rx came Zooming up behind me, then with a honk of his horn and a wave of his have he was gone......... All that remained from this brief encounter of the Silver Ghost was a faint smell of burnt unleaded fuel mixed with a splash of oil , I was in heaven.

Dudes, check out my new Rotary:

Just brought her home from the HD. All that talk Mike and Tim were having about fun with leaves got me excited.

I'm figuring if we hook this thing up to Mike's Cold Air Intake (CAI) we can blow anything that comes out of Gene's garage out of the water.

Videos to come.

Actually Kent, I was thinking about using it to boost MIKE'S Nikki, he's always looking for new and creative ways to find more HP.

You're on Gene, what you bringing to the party, the SA or the Rod?

I have been sneaking into the garage to play around with the box of Nikki parts. Not ready to do any on-car testing yet. But, I will add Ray's fancy new super charger to the list of experiments to try.

Gene, be careful what you bite off. Ray has decades of experience bringing grad students to tears with the tests he contrives. No telling what kind of gauntlet he could contrive to test your metal.

I have a new leaf picking up plan. I'll buy Yuengling and Guiness. That should lure Ray and Tim to Lawrenceville. Between their fancy new leaf bagging tools, they should have my yard done by the time I have the beers open.

Nice new toy, Ray.

I'll bring Cathy, she piled up the leaves, I burned them.

Here's some pics of the results, Notice the OCD alignment on those X-wheels, after I moved them out of the way so they wouldn't get burned.

Well, we aren't going to do it to the Silver One. We are going to do it to the Blue One. Mike's been talking about boost since 2002.

I'm figuring that Echo back pack will deliver twice the HP those early pioneers were getting with the hand held leaf blowers.

And what's with this "anything modified from stock" stuff?

I have an RB header, plus the associated accoutrements out back. I also have a second generation Radio Shack aftermarket power antennae.

On some of my GSLs I've even had aftermarket battery cable ends and all of them have aftermarket tires.

I also have some FC stuff in there, some good, some bad. I like the direct fire coils, the strut covers are kind of tacky.

Also Gene, you haven't even seen what I'm going to do to the White One yet. If the Back Pack works on Mike's car, watch out.

Ray, if you think those strut tower covers are so tacky, why don't you take them off? It wont hurt my feelings if you get rid of them

I found a similar car modification to your leaf blower induction here. It claims 5 lbs of boost! hahaha!

I just love the way Ray is willing to test anything on my car first. We all have our roles in life. And, I have accepted mine. Food taster for the King. Long live the King.

Ray, please bring Cathy. Cathy, Michelle, and I will open the beers while you and Tim pick up the leaves.

BTW, some really great pics.

Brett, the jury is still out on those strut covers, I can't decide. Maybe tacky is good.

The King. I like that. Makes it sound like I won't have to pay taxes next year.

And you've gotta admit Mike, the food taster's food has been pretty good. RB header, 2GDFI, Respeed Custom Heat Shields, tacky little 2G strut tower covers.

I even got you to taste the GSL's and you haven't looked back since. OK, I admit, some of those were your ideas.

Once Tim picks a day I'll bring my Echo Back Pack, we can blow the leaves where ever you want them.

Then when we get done we can hook the Echo up to your Nikki and take a ride around the block.

Thanks for the kudos on the pics. Are we allowed to burn leaves in your neighborhood?
