That is super cool Chris. Kind of neat my dirty old REPU tailgate had some spotlight as well. Crit should Clear coat that thing and run it on his fully painted truck.

No question about it, Billy. Crit has to clear coat that tailgate and show it off proudly. It has an international following.

Ray, what was that junk hanging off that 12A in the engine bay shot you posted? What are all those little multi-colored electrical looking thingys. Did you notice some bees built hive on that poor 12A?

You guys are Neanderthals.

All those "thingys" are highly sophisticated electrical, pneumatic, aerodynamic and hydraulic devices that conspire to make the 12A run as powerfully and efficiently as humanly possible (or, as in the case of the Mazda engineers, Super Humanly possible).

Of course boys will be boys when it comes to "modding" things they can't fix, so you rarely see GSL's appointed this way anymore.

How's that for a snappy come back?

Good come back. And, I deserved it. Now, Tim can't really help himself. He has been huffing del horto fumes for the last two decades. That del horto should have a Surgeon General's warning on it.

Brett, I love your new pickup truck.

If you ever wanted to meet Dave Meditz, from Texas, and his family, they are in Atlanta for a few days. Dave owns over 100 Mazdas and some very rare ones at that. So plan to come out and join us for dinner tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15th, at 7:00PM.

I'm not sure of location yet, but somewhere north of the perimeter. I just wanted to get the word out now, so you can plan to join us.

I will post later tonight with location. Hope to see you there.

Holly

Looks good on an FC Brett, I like it!

Now Mike, I think it's those del horto fumes that make Tim so interesting. Have you ever met a nicer, more interesting guy. That makes home brew?

Holly, Tuesdays are the nights Cathy lets me out, post up the details!

That explains that text earlier. I didn't have your number in my phone and thought someone had a wrong number. Now I feel old.

LOL brett! nice tow truck.

Not a good night tonight, on my way home towing the new FB my SE's wheel bearing went out. the wheel still moves but pulls hard to the left and sounds horrible. I had to limp the car all the way home.

You guys shouldn't be using your RX-7's for garden trucks and tow trucks, they really aren't made for that!

That yellow car looks like fun Alex!

So Ray, are you going to make a pit stop at Twisted Tavern on your way home tonight?

We are going to meet the Meditz's for dinner at the usual OGTA spot:

Tuesday, March 15, 2011
7:00PM or whenever you get there
Twisted Tavern in Suwanee
105 Horizon Drive
Suwanee, GA 30024-2999

Who all is coming out tonight? The weather should be clearing off and be pretty decent outside by evening

Wow that crept up in a hurry, I didn't realize it was this evening. I'll try, I'm still at work but running out of gas, been here since 5:00 am (that's after the drive in) and did 4 hours of lecture today but if the afternoon drags on and I'm in the vicinity on the way home I'll be there!

Yeah definitely spreading the OGTA love with the pictures Mazda highlighted to showcase Billy's tailgate, Crit's REPU, and The White One. I am excited about what I can get from The Mitty.

Chris if Crit shows up with his Repu in a new coat of blue paint with Billy's tailgate on the back in the original patina freshly sprayed with clear coat you will have a prize winning photo for sure.

Holly, you are wrong, I am that that old yet, I was exhausted yesterday, sorry not to make the party.

Nice truck, I'd look good in it.

12A I hope. Most other engines wouldn't be flat enough to fit under that hood.

We had a nice dinner with Dave, Lisa & their daughters on Tuesday evening. We had to change venues upon their arrival at Twisted Tavern, because children are not allowed in, with the smoking laws now. So we ended up at the Taco Mac on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. It was great to see the Meditz's. Hopefully we will see Dave again soon at the Walter Mitty this year.

We had a group of 10 people, but didn't come up with much for an OGTA 12A equivalent count:

0.0 Dave, Lisa & 2 daughters in the Mazda van
0.75 Kristy in the Pre-Production - yay, the ignition issue is fixed
0.125 Holly in the FE
0.33 Jeremy in the 3rd gen
0.0 Crit and Dena in the Honda
0.0 Ryan in the Honda, or was it the truck?

1.205 TOTAL 12A equivalents. oh well it was the company that counted this time.
