Old guys with 12As club meeting
Its a little over an hour away from Atlanta, it might be worth checking it out

White > Silver > Tornado Silver > Tender Blue
It's tempting. We could always refinance the house next year, shift the cash to this project.

But it does have some issues. The floor mats aren't original, nor is the rear carpet. And that's gotta be dust on the rear bumper, if not it's a total hoax.
The tires are original, so they will need to be replaced. Unfortunately not with RWL.
Very tempting, hmmmmm.
Hey, do any of you guys know what those friggin' government agents did with my images?

You always get that less than, greater than thing backwards. I fixed your arrows for you.
Anyone know what next Tuesday is?
Rumor has it, we will have a special guest from the north. No, it is not Santa Claus, Holly. I am planning to be there Tuesday. Ray, I'll bring your distributors.

Ray I see what your doing.
Your just trying to squash any competing
interest in the car.
Those are not original tires and you can't even see the rear carpet from these pics.
Theres a big cardboard box in the back hatch area hiding the rear carpet.
The paint looks good except for a lot of dust.
The interior is mint.
There is what looks like sunfade on the rear bumber and rear trim around the hatch
lock area which is consistent with the garaged story. I could see that happening if it
sat in a garage and the sun came through the windows and just hit the rear
bumper and the lower hatch area everyday.
I think its worth looking at. Maybe you can buy it for $100 at auction.

Hey Ray,
I found a new member last night , his 2nd gen was stalled on the bypass going to Athens. I went home got my truck and pulled him to his house. He needs a fuel pump, do you have any in your extra parts bin he could purchase.
If we can get his car running he will come to the meet next week.

hmmm, don't those FC's have some kind of high falutin fuel injection system that requires special computers and high powered, extreme output fuel pumps?
Better ask Brett, he's got enough parts to keep an FC running.
Tim, I sure would like to buy that car but Cathy hasn't even spoken to me since I mentioned it was available. And she thinks it's just another $200 project car (she didn't give me a chance to explain) not a low mileage mint condition car that's sure to fetch $3,000, maybe $5,000 or more. I'd better give up on that fantasy.
But I might just drive over to have a look.
Mike you are right about those <, >, <> things, damn tough on a dyslexic like me.
All I know is White is Best.
Looks like those government agents decided to reinstate at least one of my provacative images. I'm encouraged, so here's another:

Howdy folks - I'll be out of town next week, so I'll miss the monthly meet (although I know that comes as no surprise). Just wanted to let y'all know that my cream puff 50k mile '85 GS will be going up for sale later this month...so if you're looking for that virtually perfect, museum-quality example don't blow your $$$ on someone else's crap until you've seen mine, LOL!
Thanks & more later,
Troy

No, no, FC's are 1st rate cars. After all, they are powered by Wankel.
It's just that, compared with the SA and FB, they don't have the elegance, durability, sportiness, power and joy of the 1st gens.
And they need an extravagant high powered fuel pump to keep them happy.

I'll be there.
Rumor has it that there will be yet another visitor from up north at the OGTA meeting this evening, one of those Carolina boys is headed on down through the storm.
Be good to see you Tim!
Low mileage FB's seem to be all over the place these days, but I just can't get used to all those body panels on this one.

We missed you Billy, the FE turn out was great. See ya next time!

Tropical Storm Lee kept the numbers down, not many FC's and no FD's braved the challenging road conditions, but the bad weather didn't keep the the Old School Rotaries away, we had two pretty SA's (Tim, down from NC and Gene's SA/SE) and Jeremy's RX-2 spicing up the parking lot. A bunch of nice FE's too, I'm getting to like those cars.
Here's the 12A count:
1 RX-2 = 2 12A's (Jeremy)
2 SA's = 3 12A's (Tim, Gene)
2 FB's = 2 12A's (Crit, Ray)
2 FC's = 1.5 12A's (Kristy, Brett)
4 FE's = 2 12A's (Tommy, Louis, Anna, Holly)
Total 12A count for 9-6-11 = 10.5 12A's
Here's some photos, my camera wasn't behaving very well in the wet weather, hopefully Tim got some better ones.
The Old School Group:
Jeremy's RX-2

The SA Group:
Tim's Classic Silver SA, down from NC

Gene's really nice Blue SA/SE
